Hey y'all, just got my Hellcat and loving it. Would love to get a bit of a deeper, louder sound from the exhaust and was wondering if anyone had some experience with the MBRP Street or Race exhausts for the hellcat? My other big thing is I don't want any drone, or as little as possible. I had a 16 Mustang GT and used the MBRP Street catback on it and loved it. Absolutely 0 drone in the cabin and gave a wonderful growl. Appreciate any input. Thanks

It's a fairly new system not many people have it. IMO AWE tuning makes the best cat backs for these cars as they use an H pipe for a deep classic tone. The touring is drone free while the track has some drone but very minimal from what I've heard.

Yeah I had a friend recommend the AWE exhaust and I'm not opposed to it but $680 for an entire catback while retaining the exhaust valves is pretty incredible.

MBRP does not retain the valves they have simulators for the valves so you don't get a CEL. For the money it's a quality system tbh but if your objective is to be budget friendly and keep the valves stick with a mid muffler delete as its relatively a similar sound to most cat backs. If you want the best sound possible AWE is worth every penny. I had a mid muffler delete on my scat loved it but my friend had AWE touring on his and it sounded very different I was about to get one but sold my car.

@392Ant is absolutely correct. AWE makes an awesome system. [email protected] helped the engineers at AWE for fitment and lowest possible drone. I don't notice any drone in my HC, but other members who have the track edition are like me and some do hear it.

I love the AWE old school sound

I get many compliments on the sound and I personally like it better than a CAI for the SC

I have the AWE Track edition installed on my Hellcat Charger and it does give some HP gain.
Here is the link to HHP's web site and it shows the different versions. be sure to scroll down and read the Description too.

I'd give HHP sales a call they sell many other Exhaust, catback systems for whatever you are thinking of adding.
