has anyone purchased the wifi for the car and how is it mine is pretty off and on which sucks and i only have one devise hooked up to it.

I was going to but it's SO expensive. Who doesn't have service on their phone now? If I want to add an iPad or sow thing it's only $10 a month more. Less than 1/3 of Uconnect...and LTE

I purchased it for a month. I thought if I could save on downloads from phone, it might pay off. If I streamed my music, it might make sense. It was only good for posting my videos to YouTube while cruising.

The only reason why i wanted is for thevkids to play on the i pad or if im stuck in traffic

I just use the Hotspot off my tablet. Cheaper

If this is something you want to do regularly, I'd check out a couple of options: first see if your cell phone has a hotspot function. It might be free or your carrier might charger for it, but the idea is that the iPad could then connect directly to your phone instead of the car.

The other possibility is to get an iPad that has a cellular connection built in. You can then add it to your cell phone plan like it's another phone. Might make sense if the price difference is enough.

If you have AT&T the Hotspot function is free
