Has any one experience this,I’vegot a chip inthe passenger side door jam, there are no dents to indicate there was something caught in between the jam to cause this
My HC has the exact same chip. I’ve had my 2021 for 7 months now and I had never seen that chip until recently. I actually wondered if someone tried to shove a flathead in the door to break in. There is not any rubbing or anything when the door
Cant really tell where the chip is from the pic but I’ve seen seatbelt buckles get slammed into door jams before. People arent paying attention when they remove them and sometimes they dont retract all the way and are sort of loose and flopping around. Usually in the rear. Kids are usually the culprits.
Just a thought.
If you're looking for a good touch up paint, I've had a really good experience with Dr. Colorchip. Kits are expensive though.Sounds logical but #1 no kids#2 no one’s been in the back seat and#3 there are no other marks in the door jam to indicate an object had been in the way,the chip is just past the door liner fabric(armrest panel),my thoughts are it just weakened and broke off from closing the door probably defective material,it would probably do more harm to claim a warranty issue and have it repaired so I’ll probably get some touch up and leave it at that, thanks for your reply
Thank you,my thought was to go to the dealer and get the factory touch up they offerIf you're looking for a good touch up paint, I've had a really good experience with Dr. Colorchip. Kits are expensive though.
Youll have to color match if you buy a kit from them, it is usually perfect. It does not blob up like the dealer paint.Thank you,my thought was to go to the dealer and get the factory touch up they offer
