So today I'm driving to work and all of a sudden I feel a huge power loss. Stepping on gas but car is not moving. Finally just stalls.

Tried restarting but would not start. Let it sit for a bit and finally starts up again and was able to get into my work parking lot which was literally 100ft from where I was stuck.

Check the codes and had these two:
U0109 - Lost Communications to Fuel Pump Control Module
P015A - Fuel Pump Module Control Circuit/Open

So I've read all the other posts on these codes and checked the fuel pump fuse and it appeared OK. Only other issue I would think is the Fuel Pump Control Module itself or the connection going to it.

Can someone tell me where this module is located?

Car is a 2016 HC with less than 5K miles.

Thanks,

Lou

The fuel pump driver module is in behind the passenger side panel in the trunk.
It's bolted to the side roughly above in between the battery and fuse box.

Awesome, thanks for that!

I may try replacing the relay first then go on to the module if that does not fix the issue.

I've replaced the relay, however, I was able to get it running before doing that. Could be the relay was getting stuck or may be just going bad.

So I had to assume it was the fuel pump module relay as since I did that, I have not had the problem since. Easy and cheap to do.

Thanks for the info/update. I really appreciate it. Gonna look at the car tonight. I'll report back when I have an update.

Good thing I was taught to check for the easiest possible problem first. Was simply the fuel pump 30Amp fuse was bad. Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.

I would take it one step further and attempt to determine what caused the fuse to go bad usually there is a reason fuses blow.
That was my first thought when I saw the fuse. I definitely need to look into the cause of it for sure. Will keep updating if I find anything so other members can learn or troubleshoot if the same happens to them.

Glad it was something simple and hopefully there's not another issue that caused the fuse to blow.

I have a 2015 Challenger Hellcat thats a garage queen with only 2,900 miles. I keep Sta-bil treated 100% pure no ethanol gas in the car and connected to a battery tender. I normally dive the car once every 3 weeks but this time because of illness that car sat about 6 - 8 weeks. I have never had an issue with this car but it would not start a few weeks back. I have noticed the last year or so after sitting 2-3 weeks I am required to hit the started 2-3 times when before it would fire right up but this time no fire at all!

After not starting thinking it had something to do with sitting 2 months I attempted to start it many, many times over the next seven day period and it would turn over fine but would never start. A few days later I pushed the car out of the garage thinking I may need to tow it to a dealer but it fired up fine! I was thinking did me sloshing the gas a bit when pushing the car do something to free the fuel pump? Strange or perhaps a coincidence but it started after simply pushing the car out of my drive way and I bet I had tried to start it 40+ times over a 7 day period.

I now do have those same codes y'all have U0109 and P025A. I let the car sit about a week again after starting and it started but I had to hit the starter a few times before it fired but it started on the 2nd or 3rd try. I drove the car about 20 miles with no issue and restarts fine when I returned from my ride.

Im way out of my pay grade with this so I welcome suggestions as I could replace a relay I guess myself. Im guessing its not a fuse as it will start but do you folks think it could be the fuel pump? I sure hope not as I'm way out of warranty on a 2015.

Question #1
Can someone suggest an inexpensive scanner that I can reset the check engine light and clear the codes? I'm selling the car soon so I don't want to put any more money than required in a scan tool or parts and service but I can't sell a 2,900 mile garage queen Hellcat with a check engine light on and those codes . With the fact that its starting now did the issue fix itself? I'm not planing on just clearing the codes and selling but I need to clear them and I guess see if the issue returns or replace that relay, clear the codes and see if the problem returns.

Question #2 With it now starting and running do I still have a problem? Will it strand me on the side of the road?

Question #3 Should I just go head and change the relay and if so do I get the part at the dealer or is aftermarket okay and any idea of pricing?

Question #4 wonder what the chance this is an expensive fuel pump and how do I verify? Should I let the dealer tell me? Whats would a fuel pump replacement at a dealer cost me?

My journey owning a first year Hellcat is coming to an end and I need to get this check engine light off and hopefully replace an inexpensive part and get her sold so I can move on to my new project.

I welcome any and all thoughts and suggestions.
