I got my performance guy to order me just a blue filter to replace the original Mopar filter that comes standard in the car 6 months ago from Legmaker in Orlando Florida to Sydney so he told me to come and pick it up and realised that its the wrong one. Well its the right one if I had the Legmaker full cold air intake but I dont. So is there just a blue one available that replaces just the original one? In my searches I have found a blue filter but it comes with the cold air intake by Weapon x Motorsports.

Check the S&B website. They should have several options. You may have to measure the intake tube.

Thanks for your help. But their website does not have the Dodge Challenger as a brand only Dodge/Ram. The site seems like it caters for Australian cars. If you have an American website link let me know because I cannot find one.

Just order the Legmaker setup it’ll make life more interesting 😄. Ask me how I know?

I looked at the Legmaker setup and this is just my thoughts, Dodge has done a lot of R & D as far as the engine setup is concerned and to take it from a boxed unit to an exposed filter that is affected by heat and here in Sydney it gets quite hot in summer does not sound like I am improving anything. The other cold air intake by Weapon X Motorsport looks like a better setup but twice the price and by the time I get it will be around the $1400 AUD.

Haha holy hell. I see your point with price. Yeah if your idling a lot it doesn’t help.. my suggestion meant the sound upgrade.. you don’t realize until you do it but in the car you hear about 20 percent of the supercharger whine. With the LMI it’s much more noticeable. Frankly with the stock box I couldn’t even hear any supercharger whine at all until I made the swap.. now the car sounds like a jet airplane when you go by someone. Literally
