Well, it's that time of year again, the cold sets in & it's no fun to be outdoors. I took the Hellcat out for a 120 mile drive last week, filled it up, & now it's parked in a heated garage with the bikes. There are always good semi warm days here & there till spring so it's not out of the question to Crack open the garage & get something out, until of course they put down the salt. For the most part, winters in Ky. Are usually mild so I can't complain much, it just sucks to have the fun stuff stuck in the garage.
For those that daily drive yours year round, enjoy it all you can, I just couldn't do it. Now at least, I can get it all cleaned up again, top to bottom.
I know this may be a useless thread, but it's only November & I'm already counting the days till spring!!

Right behind ya bro, it’s almost time to jack her up for an oil change/cooler drain, then tucked in with blankets, pillows, a night time story, kiss, and Mopar trickle on snow mode till March…hopefully it’ll be a mild winter in regards to the white stuff

Same here as Im in NY. Summer tires coming off and getting stored in the basement with A/S Pirelli junk going back on for the long sleep. Off season mods include an axle upgrade to Redeye/Demon pieces, hopefully AAD rear suspension goodies and a pair of 17’s for the rear. I’d like to pin the crank too as I have all the pieces, it’s just a matter of motivation.

I feel for you all. We moved to FL/tampa area 3 years ago. And since I work from home, its been 3 years since I have had to wear pants. Shorts only from now on. I could not imagine going into the winter again. This move was worth its weight in gold. The wife/kids are happier. Im happier. Being a car guy its great to enjoy the car all year. If you are on the fence, I highly recommend the move. This is the time of year when all my social media friends start with the "you're so lucky" comments when they see my posts of us outside playing and enjoying the endless summer. Then come May/June, they dont care anymore again for a few months...lol

Winter is time for mods, I just got mine so I got a long list of things I could do. Front brake pads being at the top of the list wider rear rims and tires, a pulley, injectors a tune. Will see how much gets done as life has a way of getting in the way of fun stuff. Gotta junk the factory rear tires and these brake pads though for sure.

At this rate by the time my SS comes in I will hopefully have enough time to get it wrapped and ceramic coated before she is parked for the winter. This will really suck getting a new SS and not being able to drive it for 3 months.

Ummm, mid 70's here still. It will get cold in Feb, down to low 50's too damn cold for this desert rat. Cold weather driving sure is hell on these cars. When I was putting my Barton in, the amount of corrosion under the cars in the videos I watched was unreal. Mine still looks like it just rolled of a transport.

105-110 for 8-10 weeks in the summer is a small price to pay.

Stay warm fellas!!

Not crazy about the massive temperature swings in Chicago, San Diego sounds like a great place for consistent weather though
And insanely high Real Estate.

Last week took the 305 summers off the rear and rotated and installed the 275 OEM AS. Wow, do they suck for everything except burnouts!!!! But they are drivable all winter!

As far as salt, what! Are you saving the car for the clown who gets it after you croak?!?!?

Carpe diem!!!

Everything is drivable here all winter LOL!! Just was surprised how fast stuff goes to shit under a car out there. Almost as bad as a 60's-70's musclecar.

LMAO, not saving anything for anyone outside the family. Whatever cars I have after I croak go to my grandsons!!!!

Carpe Diem indeed!

Don’t save em. The greedy kids will just sell them. True. Wear them out. I’ll leave whats left of the HC to my car guy friend Roger. He just has to outlive me. Put it in the will. Includes shipping to be from my estate.

2 of my 3 are total car nuts, no chance they get rid of them. Oldest one (16) is getting his first stick shift driving lesson in the SRT tomorrow. 3rd one would just want cash!! LMAO
