considering rear tire change only?

since i have the summer tires and didnt really want them i am considering changing the rear tires

#1 i would like to leave the fronts alone and use the existing rear tires someday on the fronts...can i do that?
#2 is mixing and matching tires not a good idea? im not doing any road course with the car...only straight line all out stuff
#3 what size for the rear?
#4 what is brand/model is recommended for WI?

i dont think it even hit 90 degrees last summer.......i park my gt500 w/ F1's early because the tires suck when its 40-50 degrees......i always kept driving my 2011 SRT with RSA's until it snowed (mid nov)....never had an issue in 40 degree weather....yea the tires spun a bit more, but nothing scary or uncontrollable......i want a tire that i can use in 40 degree weather and play around with power to some degree......my gt500 and f1's are out right dangerous at 40 degrees and i assume the P0's on the HC will be the same....

do 305's fit on the rear?

id consider the trade, but i really want wide on the back......if it came stock w/ 305's i would swap in a heart beat
305s fit.. but recommended for a 10" rim.. plenty here have already mounted drag radials in the 305 on the stock rims... I will be doing the same in a month or so..

1st choice are the Mickey Thompson drag radials...

Distant second are the Nitto 555 drag radials..

From my experience with both.
MT drag radials will work in 40 degrees? what if i get caught in occasional rain? (i try not to but it most likely will happen at some point)

im not going to drag strip the car.....just the street....i occasionally want to floor it and not smoke the tires or slide off the road....i may try a drag strip at some point......

i dont want to pass a prius hard core and slide off the road in the process....i want something that will stick in WI 40 degrees to 90 degrees
rain will be rare if ever...

cold yes, dry yes

nitto 555's have been suggested

my f1's on the gt500 are dangerous under 60 degrees.....i just dont want the same experience in my HC
my f1's are really garbage unless its 85 degrees out or better.....not sure if the P0's are any better?

at 50-60 degrees can i floor nitto 555's at 50 mph and stick to the ground?
