Had both done to my sublime challenger hellcat. According to the shop, paint was in GREAT shape and only required stage 1 (he offers 3 stages) of paint correction prior to the CQuartz application. XPEL (matte) applied to entire black hood and entire front end and mirrors too. When I picked up the car, it looked like an entirely different color (improvement). The metallic properties were really apparent compared to before treatment.
I realize it is an investment to have all of this done, but to me me it was WELL WORTH it!

Hey Doc
Looks fantastic!
It really makes the sublime color "POP"
Sweet ride if I do say so myself!
Thanks for sharing the pics!
I'm going to a cars and coffee at Starbucks in Schaumburg tomorrow 930 if you aren't busy!
At least one other Hellcat coming (black) and it is sponsored by Chicagoland Area modern Mopars
Hope to see you there or elsewhere soon!

I'm in Glenview so not that far, how much does something like that cost roughly?
Looking to do that this spring and I've heard anywhere from 1000 to 1500 (just cquartz) depending on how much paint correction needed.
Much more if your'e doing Expel as well.
Check out Chicago Auto Pros as well, that's where I'm going.

Bummed there are no CQuartz Finest installers local to me. Closest prob 50 miles. Not gonna leave my car there for 3 days.
You actually would probably be without for that long even if they were next door to do the same service. The PPF will take the better part of a day and then the polishing and coating would take at least another day.

HUMP
