If you are getting ready to install a cradle lockout (highly recommended when running a drag radial on a prepped surface) you may have read how removing the limiter plate is the hardest part of the installation. I made a tool that basically pops these right off. No drilling required. HMU if you want one

Gear puller type device? I drilled mine out so I’m just asking out of curiosity.
Naw tried that fist. Turned down a insert but couldn’t grab the plate w a puller so made a tool that removes almost all the press by slightly distorting the alum part

Interested. My BMR kit is sitting on my living room floor waiting for a weekend with enough time to do the install...
You or yer buddy have a lathe?
If so get a 125mm long 13mm hex head bolt and a short piece of 1/2” pipe. Bevel the i.d. of the pipe about 40° so it moves the center of the bushing away from the limiter plate. I didn’t have any 1/2” pipe handy and wasn’t going back after already buying a puller that didn’t work. But I did have a 125mm bolt that was threaded full reach and a keps nut that fit it : )

I turned down the nut, reversed it, and when tightened against the center of the bushing it removed enough of the interference that I could easily pry the plate off

Was your car on the ground or on a lift when you drilled them?
