That i dont know. Havent spoke to dealer in a while. It has been moving to next stage abt every 30 days. So was going based on that.
So you really don’t know what the schedule should be, let alone the exact day for the build. You need your ESD and that is supposed to be around the time your car is actually built.

Never claimed to and not gonna get in a pissing match with a keyboard warrior. I already have a 22 Redeye. The jailbreak is just the icing on the cake. Move along.

“mine should have started production today”

Yeah, you did claim to know. I’m simply saying no, no it shouldn’t have started production. You don’t know what your build schedule is, so how would you just pull a date from the sky. There is no rhyme nor reason (at least to the external world) as to how the orders are processed and the cars are built.

That I agree with. I am just making assumptions based on what I have experienced and talking to others.. Never said I was 100% certain. I guess to post here you have to be 100% accurate and not speculate about anything... People suck.
Wasn’t trying to be an ass, just getting things straight. There is often so much misinformation thrown around (this forum in particular is notorious). I’ve gotten so aggregated with some..I think you just fell in a wolf den by accident. 😂

We’re all here for our love of cars and I like helping people out (even if it does ruffle some feathers). 🍻

According to the insider, the body building part of the factory was given instructions complete what they have in the works by tomorrow 1 shift so as no bodies will be half built or fully painted and stuck there for long layoff starting next week. The chip vendor gathered up what they had to build some cars this week and thats it for a few weeks.
Brampton is going to be shut down for a few weeks?!

Has been asked multiple times during the shutdown
here was one of my previous answers

I'm aware of that, just surprised that cars can still trickle through after several weeks.

I have to ask and please dont quote me on this.
I dont think you could lock or protect the APR rate, because it generate per Q. currently sitting at 6% through FCA/Chrysler capital.
Financing rates can often be locked in at order submittal, IF the rates are incentivized & the dealer does thing correctly. Standard rates are rarely ever able to be locked in, and would be subject to the rates at the time of delivery.

They are only ETA's... I don't think anyone actually gets their cars or even get shipped on the actual days. More of a "guideline" of when it's expected to ship. My last car had a dealer ship ETA of 11/08/21, then it changed to 11/18/21 but actually arrived at the dealership on 12/05/21.
The ESD (estimated ship date) is around the day which the vehicle should be built. For example, my ESD is currently 11/21. I'm not certain when the delivery window is assigned.

With the plant shutdown I was guessing the car would no longer be built my new build date is 11/30. What about your?
12/02 was the last I heard. I don’t want to be a party pooper, but it’s difficult to even be excited at this point.lol I’ve never had more disappointment with an ordering process.
