I have submitted my vin and ordered date on the google docs form. Greatly appreciated if you can keep me in the loop. This would be my second charger hellcat. I ordered one earlier this year but had to send it back because they built me a Non California compliant car when it comes to emissions.

That is super frustrating. There were multiple early 2022 TRX orders done the same way. I hope you next order gets built quick.

I am not to sure about faster because on the first order at this point I was already in the production phase. From ordered date to delivery it was 3 months I am approaching 2 months now and no status changed.

my order was submitted July 8th and no new updates have shown. You were scheduled the following day and in production in one month nice!

I ordered a hellcat charger just standard options smoke show. This is my second one this year. I had ordered one at the beginning of the year and it took 3 months for me to receive it but I had to send it back because I am in California and couldnt register the car here because they sent a Non-California complaint vehicle. 10/8/2022 will be 3 months since the new order was placed and the car hasnt even been schedule for production.

Yikes, what dealer made this mistake

Not going to point the finger at the dealer only because a few us from California have dealt with this issue all from different dealers... of course only us that bought out of state. The dealer I am going through has been amazing and has had my back the entire time. Dodge did reach out personally as well and refunded me the 3 payments I made while I had the car.

When you ordered it did they check California emissions the first time?

I cannot confirm that but that was my first question to them when placing the order and they had guaranteed they had ordered a CA complaint car but now that I know what to look for on the build sheet it doesnt show the code for California emissions. The new build sheet does show the CA emission code sooo... the entire situation just sucked cause I never really got to enjoy the 1st car and now this 2nd one feels like an eternity!

I just checked mine and I am now scheduled as well! Mine shows scheduled date 9/26/2022 like yours but funny part is that I checked yesterday and this morning as well and my status was only “order confirmed” now I wonder if everyone that’s been on status “order confirmed” if they have all been placed under scheduled

The ESD (estimated ship date) is around the day which the vehicle should be built. For example, my ESD is currently 11/21. I'm not certain when the delivery window is assigned.

I am now in Production as of 11/1/2022 with an estimated delivery of 12/5. That means the car will be built around 12/5?

Question: I see the state shows California where i reside. I ordered from a dealer in Illinois though. Dealer back when ordered mentioned that the car might be delivered to a dealer local to me in California rather than them receiving it then having to ship it to me. If it says California does that mean that’s where the car is being shipped too?

Some extra stats for todays builds.

ALL BUILDS TODAY:
Average wait from VIN being issued to build starting is 48 days with the max being 267 and the min being 11 days.

FOR HELLCATS ONLY:
Average wait from VIN being issued to build starting is 128 days with the max being 267 and the min being 23 days.

What about from build to shipped/delivered?

That stat wouldnt apply for my morning post since no cars are reported shipped for the day at that point. Are you wanting the BS (build) to WS (shipped) for just the 595 cars I reported last night or in total for the year?

For just yesterday, BS to WS was 0 days. (meaning every car that was shipped last night started production yesterday) If you want average for the entire year: 4.7 days.

Keep in mind, this number would NOT include any car that is still waiting since they havent shipped yet, which are almost all going to be more than the 4.7 days so they would increase this number. Current average for all cars still waiting is 84.1 days and if I combine the both sets the average sits at 8.2 days.

Maybe a more useful number would be to only consider cars built in the last 30 days?
Those are as follows,

BUILT AND SHIPPED: 0.8 days
BUILT AND WAITING: 6.4 days
COMBINED: 1.8 days


If anyone has a better suggestion for a more meaningful way to interpret the numbers please let me know and I will do my best to accomodate

Sorry I meant to ask how long it normally took from when the car is built to being shipped to the dealer. I just checked and it looks like its being shipped dont know how long before it arrives to the dealer.

Question for the group. 😄
It seems these cars are built not in any particular order. scervantes above for instance, ordered in July. Being as that is after me, I assume the VIN is a higher number than mine. I always thought they were built sequentially, i.e., the first one build is 001 and the last built is the last VIN issued. When did that all change??

Edit: mine is not in production yet.

How long have you been waiting? I originally ordered in January and took delivery in april but had to return that car because I couldnt register it in CA it wasnt a 50 state complaint vehicle for emissions.

My hellcat went into production today with a delivery date of 12/28

I had a delivery date of 12/5 and my car arrived 11/28. I will be picking it up tomorrow hopefully.
