Did I beat the record?I have tracked over 300 cars from WS to dealer lot in New York with an average transit time of 34 days. (Min of 9, Max of 156)

Can't say for sure about your specific car, but cars are still shipping. The Window Sticker posts I have made every evening this past week since the shutdown started are of cars being finished and released for shipping. The numbers are definitely lower than typical when the plant is in full operation. My SS was at final inspection right before the shut down... but does not show as vehicle built only in production on Sept 22. So, questions is are people still working on the shipping side during a closure? Ultimately my question is... will my car ship during the closure, if it was finished building?
finished cars that have passed QC will continue to ship. Did your build sheet show up yet? That usually means the car is awaiting shipping. Even if your car is stuck in the plant, the good news is that all the built cars in the lot awaiting shipping will be purged out. When your car is ready to ship, that should go faster than expected. My SS was at final inspection right before the shut down... but does not show as vehicle built only in production on Sept 22. Thanks for the info... I am getting antsy! Can't say for sure about your specific car, but cars are still shipping. I did get a build sheet a few days before the plant closed... so I thought that was a positive move! Well, figures!!! You know though, had it been a hellcat, and a forum member, that would have been one special car that day! And that person should have gone and bought a lottery ticket!!!! But, it wasn't, so big deal!Only 1 window sticker tonight and it wasnt a Hellcat.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
That is the way almost all of them have been for the past couple months, will have a date listed up until it shows it has shipped then goes to TBD. At that point it’s out of the factory’s hands and is on the many shipping companies that handle it depending on where it’s going so I believe they change to date since they are just relying on others for info.Anyone ever have the tracker change from a delivery date to TBD after the car was built and should have been shipped?
We are officially down to 0 now for the day, I will continue to run my 5 scans every day but dont expect to be finding much for the time being. I wont post updates here again until there is some form of movement just to avoid the daily NO UPDATE posts.![]()
Yep mine did that and still says TBD and I picked the car up August 11th.Anyone ever have the tracker change from a delivery date to TBD after the car was built and should have been shipped?
Make it a 23 at this point Dodge!Dodge Rep got back to the sales manager and said my car is scheduled for 11-28 due to waiting on parts. I wonder how reliable this information is or if they are just shooting out a future date so i'm not asking them about it once a week![]()
I'm actually ok with that since by that time I'll almost have enough to pay for half of the total. Just as long as I'm priced locked that is....Make it a 23 at this point Dodge!
