I just think the gray is a very cool looking color. Had frostbite been available that would have been a tough decision. My Camaro has stripes, but on this vehicle I preferred the simplicity of it without them.
That was another color we thought about because they were bringing it back . I just didn’t want something everyone else already had. It was unique and would have been the first muted color we ever had. I thought about one day owning a car and getting a matte wrap on one.

Called the SRT phone number about the suede headliner and essentially was told, "Your dealer should have more information about it." Lol. I pushed back and said no... They sell what they're given from corporate. It is not a dealers decision to add/remove features. Let's see what happens. I have no hope, but just KNOWING R/Ts are out there with the suede headliner makes me so mad lol. (First world problems, yes).

That's what the guy told me too. I said much of the same. That the factory/dodge is the one making these calls, not the dealers.
Why would the dealer have the power to remove headliners and logos from a factory order. I said you guys (Dodge) are the ones giving the dealers the brochures and sales literature, how does that make any sense lol.

Looks like they have two people who will annoy the living crap out of them until we receive some form of update. Every time I drive the car, I look towards it lol. Sucks!

Heavymetal454 is right on the status. Did your dealer have an allocation and did they show up on the most recent allocation list? The orders that have gone in recently almost immediately jump to D and/or D1 status at dealers that have allocations remaining. I would be concerned they might not have an allocation but one would think they shouldn't be able to put an order in if that was the case.
I believe they did when ordering first started and someone took it and backed out or something. They called me one day said they have one but not vin yet. They had it all ordered but they said I can change things around to edit it. I would be upset if they don't have an allocation. I will reach out to them today because the dodge chat online say they can't find the order.

They can just ship out some suede headliners and A pillars to the dealers and have them change it out !!! Lol, I know it's not as easy as that.
I'd never let a dealer take the interior that far apart. And after what I went through with my less than 1 year old Denali needing the driver's seat cover replaced, I'll never let any dealer touch any interior upholstery ever again.

I find it hard to believe. Several members have voiced those same concerns. You’d be the only one getting them. Regional rep doesn’t mean much especially when it’s the folks on the assembly line putting it together. If there’s a pallet of part’s sitting there they are grabbing whatever is in that pallet.

I just googled the 2023 Durango brochure and the rendering also shows the SRT model with Hellcat seats too. They can’t even get their brochures correct. Can’t they do anything right!

I just learned the Jeep Rubicon is coming out in 2024 with the 392 engine - can order it now - pricing out next month - i was told previously no iron block V8 after 2023 - extra 6.4 engines? - dodge/jeep hedging their bets (now offering 2000 off 2023 jeep 4xe)? - makes one wonder if the 6.2 turbocharged hellcat is really dead.

If they started the 2024 model year production in the upcoming months, then it is possible that Jeep is trying to deplete the leftover V8 parts bin which FCA plans to get rid of by end of 2023.

Of course there are lots of other possibilities, or even FCA will keep the V8 for as long as possible (until 2035?). Given some FCA executives' prior behaviour and credibility, now I do not trust anything they say and also what the press release writes - unless there is a binding-contract with their signatures on it, which means if they lie or do not keep their words there will be serious punishment to them.

The 6.2L Hellcat and 6.4L engines are dead for the Charger and Challenger after 2023. Those engines will live on in the Durango SRTs into 2024 and the Hellcat engine will remain in the TRX through 2024 as well. Wouldn't surprise me if they stuff some more 392s in Jeeps. Would be nice to see it in the Gladiator.
