OK, I will go ahead and open up pre-orders on Hellcat/392 Intake Lid still doing final testing before molding all the components. output is very large at 113mm giving a better airway into the throttle body and improved flow.
The bad news if I don't pre-sale 25 of these I will cancel the project but this is not Kickstarter and I will refund all pre-orders

How can this work on a 2015 Hellcat, as they had the MAF sensor incorporated into the lid?

If this eliminates the OEM rubber hose, how does the lid attach to the the throttle body? A silicone coupler? Are you including it?

Is the under (inner) side of the airbox lid all smooth? (versus the rough grid pattern on a stock 392 airbox lid)

So I’m on 15-16 I will make a maf sensor adaptor to take place of air temperature sensor.

Yes the rubber cuplers will be sold with the kit This is why I’m trying to pre sale a few because for a one man show 10k in molds is a lot the throw at a product with no idea if it’s gonna sale.

yes the bottom is smooth I have another tester printing right now for a 392 once it’s done I’ll get pictures of it ( don’t have the rubber boot mold yet so gonna have to rig somthing up for now)

Will the lid be that carbon fiber look like what's on the website? (Hellcat)

Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
If I can get enough pre order to move fowared with getting the expensive mold made yes it will be carbon fiber like my other 19+ hellcat intakes. If not those who pre ordered will have an option for a refund or a 3D printed version.

Just curious....why put the sensor on top like that?
Why not put it on the back side, so it's less of an eye sore?
(like on the angled part of the lid)
This was just a test it has be moved down slightly .

the air path of the tube is longer less rubber it’s also larger diameter and better flowing. Should give lots of super Charger sound the 392 sound was great.

most people know that the 15-18 dodge hellcat intake is the best proformer intake heck dodge makes very good intakes. A lot of people go with other tubes for the sound and don’t care that the hot air intake they just put on has taken a few HP away.

this is just a slightly improved air path over Dodge should have sound and power gains over stock

Because, My husband @Top Cat (rip) with his 2015 hellcat Challenger, me and my 2015 Hellcat Charger were out testing many different parts and Tuning along with Josh @HighHorseman 3 Xs a week pioneering the way, i thought I should post up.
My husband prior to Hellcats did not like the fact that there were not many parts available for those that wanted to modify for their need for speed. John wanted to do the testing and Tuning and R&D of parts because he knew that parts vendors needed to step up their products to be more competitive and it would also bring more parts to market.

When I promote the many parts from HHP's website, I know they have been track tested. Many of their customers are willing to do the R&D besides me and have been. And they are some of the Fastest Hellcats too. If the parts come to market on a piece of paper but no R&D with results from the track, well I teach everyone that is paperwork marketing.

@Denver 3d printing you wrote Should 2 times. Should give good supercharger sound and should give power gains over stock. It would be best if you have someone to do the T&T of your parts for you. People will be more interested in lining up.

Also LMI was mentioned, depending on if there are actual results and who had them done for stock vs non stock on a dyno I agree %100 with @TNCHARGER . I had an LMI on my Charger and then had it taken off my car to be installed on My husband's "Top Cat" because there is a difference for rwhp and his was heading to the 8's.
Improving on any MFG's intake is the competitive name of the game!

Good luck with your products!

Linda :)

thank you so tha main gains will be from matching or having a larger hole and not a rubber down funnel with ribs. I say should because I am in the R&D fase right now and will have a few 3D printed models out there for testing at a 5 day print and $400 in materiel I’m awaiting some feed back on the one I have out now then I will also test it on my redeye aginst stock lid and do some dynos so at this time I can say “should” based on flow simulations in computer software real world results may differ so as of now I can only say should.

this is a pre order to help fund testing and mold cost if I don’t get enough each preorder will have the option to receive a 3D printed lid or a refund the 3D printed lids will be much more expensive over carbon fiber but set up cost for carbon fiber molding is a lot on this being just one man this is my way to ask for help it’s never easy to do but for us small time innovators this is it or Kickstarter where you can get somthing or nothin.

Sounds very interesting. Glad you are working on getting some R&D done.!

All parts that we tested my husband paid for and sometimes they were discounted. The good and bad. Working with [email protected] who is a highly reputable Top Tuner for Hemi's and his performance shop installing parts the knowledge and part contacts helped a lot for all of us to work together.
John, as Top Cat didn't care he wasn't hiding anything, ..if they didn't prove out he posted the truth from the track on here. The good and Bad. It was an adventure and truly pioneered the way for many to modify their Hellcats.

The modern technology of 3 D printing isn't something we see everyday in our part world. I think 3 D printing is amazing. Please continue to show more about your place of MFGing, as you progress through your R&D.

So if the money is paid and not enough people sign up then we have the option for a refund or this lid that I attached?
No carbon fiber option correct?

Unless some one wants to fund the $15000 molding fee for carbon fiber then no only the printed version or maybe I’ll make a hand laid carbon version.
