My new car arrived in Colorado with 3 miles on it and is broken. It has been sitting outside in the snow and rain waiting on Part # 68586450AA module fuel pump level unit. Dodge care continues to advise the part is number one to be sent but will not say when. AutoNation my dealer wants the parts so they can sell and I cant wait for my modern luxury muscle car. My only options when ordered were the important stuff being redeye widebody.

Everyday redeyes roll off the line with the part I need. Dodge will not send me one of the manufacturing parts for the line and cannot give me a date of when the required part will ship. After getting my coolest toy ever it will be garaged and protected. What a bummer it has been sitting outside in the Colorado weather broke for the past month.

My salesman for AutoNation just advised he would order another hellcat the same as it may come in faster than my part. I am so very happy it did not break on my way home requiring payments on a broken car.

After being test driven a bit through the snow and grime and salt of winter in Ontario, it probably sat outside for a month at Brampton before it was shipped - a few weeks out in the sun and dry air of Denver won't hurt it (unless it gets vandalized or stolen of course)

Yep, these oem pumps are scarce if not impossible to get. Dodge isn't going to let you go get one elsewhere either. Sorry to read this.

Had a buddy in GA who’s SS was DOA.

Both fuel pumps bad. Took three weeks for his dealer to receive and swap.

should make us all wonder and question the reliability of these pumps.

If you call Steve White parts, they can run a locator. Sometimes a dealer may have it on their shelf but most dealers won't search. I found a rear window locally with Steve White and it saved me probably 2 months for what the dealer ordered in. They can do parts transfers between dealers.

That stinks. But it’s hard to believe there are none anywhere. When I got my charger Redeye last year, we realized it has a broken driver side airbag.

Originally they told me that ordering one would likely take a month but they would call around. Later that day, they called me back and said they found one and were having it shipped to the dealer overnight and they’d have it replaced the day they got it.

They did. This was also Autonation, but in Washington. Hope maybe your dealer can do the same.

Just out of curiousness, looking to see how available the fuel pumps are, all the mopar parts sites list the 2022 Redeye fuel pump as discontinued / not available to order.

However, the 2021 Redeye fuel pump is easily available. Did they really change the part in some way between the two years that the 2021 fuel pump won’t work in the 2022?

Probably same pump with different part number and higher price tag! 🙄

Maybe, just a little patience.... :) If you ordered the car the way you want it and has all the options you ordered with no options deleted at build time, it's there. If you order another one, there is no guarantee it will be built or come in with all your ordered options. Defeaturing/Deleting Options at Build Time is a real issue... not a joke.

I would have the car towed home. You own it. Then have it towed back when part arrives. If you did paperwork and signed everything the car is yours to do whatever you wish. Infact I'd take it home and put aftermarket pumps in it on my dime.
