2 weeks ago I was informed by my dealer that my Jailbreak had started to production with a ship date of August 28th. However, the live tracking website say my car is still only scheduled. I also used the live chat where I was told the car had not started production. So who would know more in this situation?

I will tell you from experience, the chat sucks... they only go by tracker. Couple things you can do: 1) ask dealer for POC. 2) call Dodge, they are great. They told me mine is schedules for production when tracker shows waiting to be scheduled. 3) copy this webaite, add your vin after the = sign. If it is in production it should give you pdf of build sheet: http://www.dodge.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=

I see. When I add my VIN it tells me there are no records of my VIN. Bummer. I wonder where my dealer is getting the ship date. I’ll look into the POC tomorrow. Thanks for the info.

Of course! It does take a day or two to update the build sheet. On your POC it should have the code for production along with what stage of production. You may also just want to call the Dodge customer service line. They have been great for me.

The dealer has the most up to date information. The tracker and such takes time to get updated. If the dealer is being honest, order placed ect....they get the info direct before the wiennes input data into the tracker, build sheet...........

Called my dealer and they assured me they were told directly from Brampton that my car was in production. Tracker still says scheduled though.
So I called my dealer as well to follow up with status of car. Dealer told me that it was updated on 8/3 & is showing a ship date for 8/20. Tracker is still showing scheduling. SMH Im hoping the dealer info is accurate.
