Read the TSB. Then instead of referencing the TSB tell them you are experiencing these problems sporadically. List some of the problems outlined in the TSB. Bet you a coffee it works.I asked to have my A8 reflagged with the new program listed in the TSB and they said not unless I have a problem...

Thank you!TSB repairs get back billed to FCA, and are to be done, only if certain symptoms and/or problems have been reported. I agree to describe the symptoms instead of the TSB nuimber... Think of it as FCA having to pay for a repair that may not be needed, or fixing something that was corrected as a running change on the assembly line.....
Sometimes it's better to play dumb. I don't think some service guys like having tsbs shoved at them.I was under the impression the TSB were posted so dealers would fix these things when cars were brought in.
YesFind a new dealer, It cost them nothing to do the update set the tone now for how you will be treated.
Told that dealer to pound salt. Found a new dealer today. Level 3 tech, I stay with car, they did the updates.Find a new dealer, It cost them nothing to do the update set the tone now for how you will be treated.
Let me know how you feel after driving with the update applied. I'm most interested in Track Mode, keep in 2nd gear and come to a stop. When it shifts to 1st gear is it violent? Mine on the Challenger is, and sometimes doesn't want to upshift in D (regardless of transmission mode). Both symptoms covered by the TSB and mine was built in December.Told that dealer to pound salt. Found a new dealer today. Level 3 tech, I stay with car, they did the updates.
In a Dodge dealership what are the various tech certifications. Just curious how it works...Told that dealer to pound salt. Found a new dealer today. Level 3 tech, I stay with car, they did the updates.
Now, after flash, In track mode, when you come to a stop in 2nd the car softly shifts to 1st.Let me know how you feel after driving with the update applied. I can definitely tell a difference with the Charger, which was built in February and must have it already applied. I just want to see if Challenger owners with it applied have similar feelings that I do on the Charger.
I'm going to get mine flashed soon regardless, most likely.
Not totally sure, Dr B would know. But from my understanding level 3 is highest accreditation you can get. And each area has a level, ie. Motor, tranny, etc...In a Dodge dealership what are the various tech certifications. Just curious how it works...
Thanks, just what I was looking for. Looks like I'll be stopping by the dealer at some point soon. Now, after flash, In track mode, when you come to a stop in 2nd the car softly shifts to 1st.
