..it seems that most cars that want to take me on are modded, and they expect mine to be too. It seems to me that this is the "dog chasing his tail" type of situation that would have no end in sight. Therefore, to avoid getting caught in the never ending quest for more power, I have decided that 797 HP will suit me just fine. If I lose a race, I can always say "it's just stock". No warranty issues, no reliability problems. I'll stay with the combo that many, many VERY SMART engineers put together .

And designed well enough that they put their money where their mouth is that it will last under those conditions for at least 3 years or 36k miles. Good choice man.

leaving it stock is not for everybody.. especially in the late 70s, 80s and early 90's when 'FAST' cars had a whopping 185hp. But these days.. with factory 800hp available.. damn sure is a good time while it last..

before the gov selected winners ruin the party.. stupid EVs.. I hope everyone who feels this way votes the fun suckers out of office!!

STOP THE FUN SUCKERS!

I've noticed a trend in the community:

1. Expensive wheels purchased then removed for sale
2. Aftermarket intakes removed and put up for sale
3. Tazers removed and resold
4. Aftermarket suspension removed and put up for sale.

Leave them stock ...

800hp with a warranty works for me. Zero wrenching, breaking things, or coming here asking why my car wont idle or overheats either.

When I get to the point where I outperform my cars ability I would consider upgrading to a redeye before I would mod my car. My car is a monster and I don’t need any more power for me. I sure as hell am not modding it to keep up with those that do. To each their own I guess. I know this… people want to buy my car from me because it is NOT modded.

Is there a back story?

No matter what some do to their cars, there's ALWAYS someone faster.
With the building of these cars coming to an end, totally stock is the best all around option. Besides, my Redeye has plenty enough power for me.
Yep, I've said this many times on here. No matter how fast you are there is always going to be someone faster or trying to beat you if your faster for the time being. I also said from the start I have no intentions of modding my car, it will stay stock, as 807 hp WITH a warranty is amazing!

Only mods I’ve made with the exception of drag radials and wider rear wheels are to increase traction, handling, longevity and reliability. Complete AAD rear suspension, Demon 1/2 shafts, Wiles 4in. D/S, Pettys Garage front and rear shock tower bars, and a few other things. Plenty of stock power, I just want to get it to the ground as efficiently as possible without breaking anything. My cars a ‘15 so no warranty either way.

The problem I had is that I became accustomed to the power and then after a while it started to feel slow, or if not slow, not as fast at it once was.
When I got to 1000hp I thought ok this is enough, I will never need or want more than this in a daily driven street car.
But...
After a recent WOT run I think there is either something wrong with the car or I'm going to need more power.
(there's nothing wrong with the car)

I know nobody asked , but here’s my two cents worth . I’m sure you all can agree that is that buy a Hellcat buy them for one reason or another , and I’m no different . If someone buys one and runs the piss out of it at the track all day long or buy one and never drive it , well that is their prerogative. That’s the beauty of it .Any Hellcat gets attention no matter if it’s stock , tuned or has 10 grand of mods done to it . I don’t ever plan on taking mine to the track or doing doughnut s at the local strip mall , Just being blessed to have the opportunity to have one parked in the garage covered up and ready to drive when I want to is good enough for me . It doesn’t matter if I’m driving 25 MPH thru Gatlinburg TN or driving 100 on the Interstate ( for a short bit ) you know as well as I do that people take notice . I bought my Hellcat cause it makes me smile , that’s what matters most to me concerning owing a Hellcat

In all honesty unless you're racing these do come with quite a bit of horse power. However the factory tuning leaves a lot to be desired and makes a lot of compromises. I advise most to just get a custom tune on their otherwise stock car. Not one person said that was bad advice after a tune.
