(Finding tires for the SS has been a challenge for some and it might only get worse after production ends.)

Find curvy roads to take it through, the occasional road course, or drive it often/road trip it? Redeye.

This is not an investment....And I plan to drive it....looking for a fun summer car with back seats for the kids....I have a TRX and another very fun car but it's too flashy for where I live....To be honest the Redeye probably makes more sense for what I'll use it for but all this talk about the SS makes me think twice about passing it up.....

what’s the comps? Need 4 seats and something I can take the kids to in soccer practice without drawing a ton of attention. I love my TRX so this seems like the perfect compliment

All depends on your use. From your description a red eye would suite you better. If you want investment an SS.
A lot of guys with an SS actually put red eye wheels and tires on because it’s not practical to use on tje street with the drag radials. Also, the 6 pistons are nice on tje red eye. SS only gets 4. I like the 6 piston look myself. 😁
