anyone been told dodge does not want you to see your car come of trailer when delivered anymore

Nope in fact my dealer checks on the delivery status daily and plans to notify me when the train stops in Winston Salem. Once in WS he'll call the 'yard' and ask the truck driver to call me when departing en route to the dealership so that I may intercept the truck a mile or two out and follow it all the way into the dealer's lot. Believe it or not I didn't even have to ask for this service....nope, totally voluntary on my dealers part and it's included in the price of the car @ MSRP!!!!!

Dealers says no way to know either but they told me 22-28th for delivery when Srt and RS says early next week
I want to see it come home

My dealer called the rail yard today.my cat was unloaded there yesterday.the rail yard told them Tuesday or Wednesday they said it takes a little longer to inspect than a regular car.but they would call them when it leaves.the rail yard is 4 hrs from dealer and I am 2 hrs from dealer.i guess we will see if the rail yard even remembers to call the dealer!

Dan has been sending updates like crazy. Sent the itinerary from the time it left Canada all the way to Minneapolis. Will call before it arrives here in La Crosse. He and his team are as excited as I am and my was when her HC Challenger arrived. Great Dealers make for really satisfied customers.

What I found out the is that the dealer can call the trucking company and find out exactly when the car will arrive. I saw my car 2 hours after it came off the truck. It was pretty dirty because it sat in Brampton for 6 weeks. My dealer said I could see before they wash it (which, I did)... But after I heard it start and drive to the wash area...I knew it was special. Everybody at the dealership, including the customers knew it was special.

I really love it so far....and I think more than special.

Don't get put off by people who don't "know" cars. You will love it.

I'm not surprised someone said this to you. I'm sure they're tired of gripes because of the way the cars are unloaded. (rightfully so!!)

I was there to video mine coming off the truck. This is a very good idea. Why? The driver is extra careful when he knows he's on video!
