Hi everyone! Would like peoples opinion. I had dealer call me on the 15th that someone dropped order on Demon 170 and he didn't give me much time I ended up picking Sublime with sunroofs and painted top and hood with black interior. Later on I started to think maybe green is too crazy. I think it was cause I have a 1-97 Coronet RT Sixpack real Sublime 4 speed with black top which is real color to that car. Do you guys think Sublime was a cray choice for resale someday? People mentioned that Mopar concierge could change before production. Let me know your thoughts. I missed out on the first Demon but looking at peoples collection or when they sell nobody races or puts any miles on these cars maybe very few.

Sublime and PCP are generally the highest resale colors. It can take longer to sell them, but they will generally bring more because they're a high impact color that certain fans really want.

Now, if you are concerned about resale, it's not the paint you should be worried about, but the sunroof. Lots of drag racers and muscle car fans in general really hate a sunroof on a performance car, me included. I don't care if the D170 was offered to me at MSRP, I'd never get one with a sunroof... it kills the optimal weight transfer and in a 1,000hp car, it'll be more pronounced than in something like my Redeye. IMO, that's your issue... that and the sunroof is a $10,000 option that's absolutely worthless and its driving up your bottom line needlessly.

And on the flipside people like me who will never race, which will let's face it - be the majority, will def want the roof. I wouldnt buy one without the roof. Bigger customer base will want the roof.

May 29th 2023. Hello all here, I am in dire need of advice. I purchased an allocation from one dealer who bought it from another dealer. I was told I could build the car exactly as I wanted . . . . . well apparently the dealer that the allocation was purchased from had already placed the order! Yes my dealer said I'll get the car but I have to take it with the options that the first dealer ordered :( . I was advised that I might be able to change my order in June but they weren't sure. So now that I've joined this forum, I'm reading about a concierge with Dodge that legit buyers can contact for info regarding changing wheels etc. I would really like to change the colors of both the exterior and interior. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Billy

Im almost certain it’s too late to make changes on a submitted order. Concierge wont change that if im correct.

Hello again and sorry for the delay as I'm on the East Coast.
Hah, "Going To Hell19" asks, if I got a decent price? Answer NO! I've been to a dozen plus dealers and one took a deposit but refunded it later as they said they decided to auction off the allocation they had left.
Told them I would never consider business with them again and would speak ill of them to anyone that asks.
BTW, they're a dealership is in N.C. thats very well known ; )
The "Stealership" I did a purchase with bought an allocation from another "Stealership". Yes I paid a hefty premium.
Time was running out and I didn't wanna miss the opportunity if it was reasonable .
BUT here's the big thing and why I signed up on here . . . . when it came time to build with my options my Stealership told me that the dealership where they got the allocation from had already submitted an order for that allocation!
I was like, Seriously?? WTF? They said, "Well Bill you can take the car the way it is or we can refund your money"
This was on the 15th of May the day after ordering closed. I said I would take it
The Stealership did tell me that they might be able to make some changes in the middle of June . . . . but weren't positive on that. The color is not what I would want first choice (both inside and out)
So after being on this forum for just a short time I saw people writing about a "concierge" I could write to and inquire about my order. Some people have responded not likely . . . . . .
Does anyone have the contact info for the Dodge Demon "concierge" I can speak with???
Thanks again for all here for being patient with me and your responses are much appreciated!!
