Has anyone run the Mt r 325/35r18 tires at the track? I'm looking to get tires for the track and want something that will hook every time. I would prefer to not get the taller tires since I'll lose ratio which is never a good thing if you can help it. I wish I could go with a slick but I'm not going down the road of installing driveshaft safety loop. More time than I'm willing to put in at the moment. It's currently a stock demon and I can say the stock 315 nittos don't stand a chance at hooking even on a well prepped track.

I don't think you would ever notice the slight loss of ratio, with the torque these monsters are putting out, with a slightly taller tire. Smashing the throttle to hard has always been the concern.

I definitely see your point with smashing the throttle but to go quicker and better 60' it should be done. Going from the 28" stock height to a taller 325/45r18 drops you down about 0.2 in ratio. That's significant for any vehicle especially these heavy guys.
