Does anyone know if Dodge has a recommended breakin period for the Demon like the Hellcat? Also, are there any lockouts on any drag racing features like line locks? What about swapping the ECM to run race gas?

According to Ralph GIles, There is no break in period or procedure. He told a friend (who is getting a Demon) that he could go right to the track with the car.
The track functions, like the transbrake are not active until 500 miles. The linelock, is also locked out. You can take it to the track, but you will not have those features.

No. No burnout contests with the line lock. You will just have to power brake it like we have been doing all along. I believe it will deactivate after 400 revolutions. More than enough to heat the tires for a Drag Strip pass. I did the math and if my memory serves me right it is something like 19 seconds at 6000 RPM in second gear.
I posted on this before and this is the video I posted of hellcat.org member Hellcat Dan's burnout (second gear manual). The WHOLE video lasts 13 seconds. This is a good solid burnout well below the 400 revolutions.

Initially, I read 400, as well. For some reason, the media started writing 200. So, I'm not sure what the real number is. 400 does seem kind of excessive or just about right, for us.

Man this type of thread drives me nuts. No break in, drive the f'n thing. Stop buying into the hype. Reminds me of politics and the sheep mentality. Until you understand that some new parts break regardless of break in and some that have been "broken in" have been turned in due to lemon laws, the more you will understand that break in has been done and any more than that is unnecessary ...even if DODGE says so. Garbage. I know , i know , dodge said you need to so its true
