Lol that’s true , the Durango owners are super mad. I just remember grumbling from some guys when the Redeye came out and than again when the super stock came out.

If I were a demon owner, I would have been pissed when they came out with the redeye. It almost matches the horsepower and the horsepower in the demon really only exceeds it. If you use the computer and have it flashed and use higher octane gas. The redeye is more street friendly and riget up there with the horsepower. I wish I had a demon, but I am perfectly happy with the redeye.

I ordered a 21 SS and backed out because I was changing jobs...wish I had gone through with the purchase, a year later I ordered and purchased a 22 Challenger RE.

Yeeeeeah but we are not all of the same cloth. Trust me, I have nothing to do with the R/T and SP people in my area who have more rice mods than a Honda. We are not the same

All the rice mods, to include a front grille badge, instead of saying "Challenger" his says, "Chally"

This is the same car as the one above. RIP. He blew this car up with a high boost 392 build using a Magnusson blower without any internal mods. According to his FB, his tuner blew it up and he sued him (and lost) because they were "only doing what you told us to do." It's currently at another shop getting another engine built. He's in this build now close to $180,000. Been following it on FB for 2 years. It has been in the shop since May of 2022. For the longest time, he had Redeye badges all over the car until enough people started making fun of it and the gold rush color (urination nation). So, he bought some CF doors and hood, and had it wrapped. From a genuine 50th anniv 392 to fake Redeye, and if it ever gets running again, a fake Redeye with supposedly a 426 stroker (running a "built" 8HP70 trans from the same shop that blew up his first motor) in mostly stock 392 format. This car is going to keep exploding.

I don’t want anyone mad, it’s just that I’ve already heard the rumblings when us peasants were able to grad a redline. I think it’s cool, it’s not cool FCA doesn’t have the funds to keep developing the brand. Bye Bye Hemi! It’s been a good run!

Demon owner here, never thought it wouldn't be surpassed and never wanted it not to be. Moreover, it will always have its place in history with so many automotive firsts. Lastly, I can't imagine anyone coming up to it and saying, oh, it's just a demon, from a distance I thought it was the number 7 car. LOL.
