I’m due for a pair of front rotors for my Hellcat. I figure since the prices of the front Demon performance rotors aren’t too far off from the prices of the front oem rotors I found online… I might consider them for the benefit of less rotational and unprung weight. I will most likely only purchase the "front" Demon performance rotors and keep the rear oem rotors since the “rear” Demon performance rotors are quite a bit more pricey than the “rear” oem rotors and I don’t think it’s worth the weight savings per cost for the rear DP rotors. I’m not too familiar with the Demon performance brake setup but I will purchase the factory brake pads from Brembo directly. I have a few curious questions if you all don’t mind.

1. Has anyone had a set of front Demon performance rotors on their cars and noticed any difference compared to the oem rotors?

2. Are they worth the change or better off just stick with the oem rotors?

3. Any downsides to the Demon performance rotors that I should know about? For example, do they not last as long as the oem rotors and you wind up purchasing them more often as you would compare to the factory rotors on our cars?

4. Before I purchase the front Demon performance rotors, I found two links that sell them and are similar in price but I’m curious to know if that includes everything that I need to purchase and if there are no other additional items or parts that are needed? Here are the links below for reference.

Demon Performance 2 Piece Rotors - Dodge Hellcat Performance Brake Rotors

Demon 2-Piece Front Brake Rotor Set 2015-2020 Challenger/Charger 6-Piston

5. I found the Demon performance rotors here in this link a little cheaper than the two above links I posted but I’m curious to know if it’s because there are other added items you have to purchase along with it to increase the total cost or it just so happens to be cheaper?

Demon Performance Rotors: 15-20 Dodge Challenger / Charger, Challenger Hellcat/ Redeye | BWP Automotive Concepts

Please let me know your experiences with the Demon performance rotors. My Hellcat is my daily driver and I take it to the drag strip pretty often so I wonder if the little bit of weight reduction might make a difference at the track or in general. Thank you and I look forward in hearing from you all.

Woops the first two links I sent were supposed to be these, if they show up how they should hopefully.

Both links have the Front Demon performance rotors listed for $1,679 for a set.

mmx also stocks them, so at least 4 vendors to choose from.
speedlogix has said they'll price match or beat competitors, so might be worth haggling with them. Might just come down to differences in shipping costs.

They are direct drop in replacements. No additional hardware needed.
I've only driven on the street, but they seem just as good as the factory Brembo rotors.
There have been others that have posted that they've tracked with them and really liked them.
I've only got a few thousand miles on them so far, so can't speak to their comparative wear/durability just yet. Perhaps some of the folks who have tracked them will have more data on that.

I've bought my front Brembo pads from stevewhite--typically has among the lowest prices on them.
Also, you can sometimes find forum members selling low-mileage takeoff front pads for a huge discount since many prefer going to Z26 pads to reduce the brake dust.

Appreciate the response, thanks for sharing. I'll check out Steve white to see what he has as far as brake pads. I was going to order my front brake pads from Brembo directly. Correct me if I'm wrong but "I believe" they are the oem brake pads for our Hellcats and are at a great price too.

Those look correct, Great price, might be cheapest direct from Brembo. Who knew.

The rotors are very high quality and weigh less than the stock pieces. The nice thing about them is once you own a pair, you can always re-order the rotors without the hats and save some money.

Good to know thank you for sharing. Did you order a set of Demon performance rotors for all four corners or just the set up front?

If you haven't considered ordering a set for the rear, I'm curious to know why as seems like I've noticed folks only getting a set for the front?

Just the fronts. Was trying to reduce unsprung weight from the front. All 4 are rather expensive, for most people the most bang for the buck is going to come from just the fronts.

I might consider a set of rear Demon performance rotors as well. Are they the same exact size as the rear oem Hellcat rotors?

I'm curious to know since I want to make sure the rear demon performance rotors will clear my 17" track wheels?

No doubt the Demon rotors are beneficial for those who are able take use of the weight reduction. I chose the DBA T3 5000 from KNS Brakes Ata per ring cost of 320 each and hardware to install on stock hat.

Easy swap and no complaints on performance. Bedded the Powerstop pads twice and the squeaks are fine cause my oem rotors were at the min thk limit or close to it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the diameter of the Demon rotors smaller than the OEM Hellcat rotors? Since the Demon has smaller brake calipers up front, wouldn't you not have the same stopping performance anymore if you put a smaller diameter rotor on the Hellcat?
Are you confusing the "Demon Performance" brand with the Demon model of Challenger?
Yes, the Demon has 4-piston calipers, smaller rotors up front.
The Demon Performance brand (girodisc) rotors are 15.4", OEM sized rotors for HC, not for the Demon (unless you convert it back to the 6-piston HC calipers)
