Just a little question around tries. I have been looking for a new set of tires and can’t find any genuine stamped ones or non genuine ones anywhere.

If this is the same for everyone, what are you using? Or am I just looking the wrong place and don’t know what I’m talking about.

315/40 R18 not really easy to come by right now.

yep I understand that. Which is why I wrote the post, is there an alternative people are using or has everyone that owns a Demon just parked them up as there are no tires?

I'm sure they have them sitting on blocks in the front yard waiting for tires to be back in stock. Super stock has same tires as well. Finding that size on a google search usually just pulls up Nittos. There are some close in size that are not nittos. You can check the difference here Tire Size Comparison
Have you tried ordering the demon logo ones through the dealer...used to be a thing, don't know if it still is.

Nitto is the only option I'm aware of that makes that exact size...and unfortunately for whatever reason they have not been manufacturing them for some time now. The G2s were the first ones you couldn't find, then the Riis, and now even the NT05Rs aren't available. Might try complaining to your dealer. Pretty bad that Dodge is selling a new car (the super stock) that you already cannot get tires for.

Im assuming you have to have a demon to order those tires? I bought some Super stock wheels which are demon wheels but I cant find tires anywhere. No eta in site. I was thinking of asking one of my demon friends to go buy me a set. Is this something they can do?

Yes,I have a Demon. Unfortunately I checked a couple of weeks ago, and they told me they don't show any in there system now.

like I tried to tell you in the other thread, there are no options right now for factory sized new tires. I contacted Nitto directly a month or so ago and even they cannot tell me when they will start manufacturing them again.

Curious if 305 45 18s are a good option? I have a friend that can get me those. Or should i just wait for 315 40 18s? Whats the best for street? G2 are discontinued so i assume R2s are my only option since they have more tread then the NTO5Rs. I don't mind waiting just want to make sure i get the right ones.

If it were me, I would get the pt# for the superstock tire and see if there available through the dealer network.

The super stock tires are the NTO5R. From my understanding those are not good for the street. The 555r2s are better for the street.

G2s are not discontinued, they just aren't producing them in 315 40 18 right now, same as RIIs and 05Rs.Those 3 were the only options.

There is another company planning to offer a DR in this size, I believe not till next spring. I've heard of this manufacturer but have no first hand knowledge of their tire quality.

So people that want those tires but need somewhat of a street tire there only option atm is the 555R2 when they start manufacturing them again.

This is a relatively new change then. When I contacted them about a month ago and specifically asked about 315 40 18, this is the response I received.
