I was on the fence on purchasing the controller but after reading feedback in this thread, I've made my decision to go forward with it. For those folks that purchased the Diablosport controller and are now locked out after using the DSC software, did the issue get fixed? I know Diablo will come out with their own software but are you SOL until then?

If you read this Putting The Diablosport SRT Suspension Controller To Work it talks about the lock out and that Diablosport is creating their own software which will limit the "tuning" of their controller. It does not address if the yet to be released software will allow access of locked out units or not, or if the number of accesses prior to the unit locking out will be removed but it mentions "as this feature is unsupported for the time being". The DSC Sport controller does not have the lockout issue or the limited "tuning" parameters since it uses the DSC Sport software which end users of the Diablosport controllers were using when their controllers were locked out.
I did see that article, thanks.

If you have a 2015 (or maybe 2016) you may want to check this thread out:

I need to follow up with the software team and see where it stands, but you'll love the controller the way it comes out of the box I'm sure :)
Received the controller, impressed with how much better the car feels planted. Track & Sport setting is actually much more enjoyable , not bouncing me out of my seat, bumps and imperfections on the road are much less pronounced and can take turns with much more confidence at higher speeds. I'm not a road racer or drag race but its my daily and for me it was worth the purchase. Looking forward to the software release as well.

Can you elaborate on what exactly is limited by the "3x lockout limitation"?
  • Does this apply to DiabloSport branded units?
  • Does this apply DSC units?
  • Does this affect the DiabloSport provided software?
  • Does this affect the DSC provided software?
  • is the lockout enforced by the software or the hardware unit?
  • is there just some combinations of hw/sw brand/brand where this happens?
What others have reported is that this applies to the Diablo branded units when trying to use the DSC software to modify parameters. Once you get the lockout the only option is to replace the unit itself.

Started the car up today, for the first time since I drove it for that short test drive earlier in the week, and I got a message on the dash saying service active dampening system. However, the car is not throwing any codes and drives fine otherwise. Anyone else have this problem?
I believe this issue was reported in another thread, the OP had to perform specific steps in a certain order to get past the error message. I’ve seen the post but just can’t find it.

You're making it harder for me to hold off... Those vehicle dynamics are what Im after!
Works great on my 2016. You can actually daily use track mode on the street without getting your teeth knocked out. I live in So Fla, roads are great however before the switch I would not consider using track mode at all for the street.

Anyone have issues with their suspension controller? I've had mine installed for about 14 months now and I suddenly got a "Service Active Dampening System" (U1039-00). I cleared the code with my Tazer and it came back. Cleared it again and then swapped the stock controller back in and I have had no issue since. I called Diablo and finally got through on the third day. Was informed that they have discovered the controller is sensitive to cold temps and mine was bricked. My car sits in a heated garage and I t was in the low 40's when the code came up. They sent me a new unit yesterday and told me I needed to remove it in the winter months and store it somewhere warm. He said they were working on a fix, but no indication if they plan to replace them as they fail or? I'm not very keen on removing and replacing this unit for cold weather?!?
Never heard cold temps affecting this product before. Seen no issues with mine when temps dropped in the upper 30s.
