This past Friday I drove the Cat all day for running errands all over the city. In general, body roll becomes nonexistent; in slow daily driving, over bumps and small potholes, the car remains level.
With the suspension on Street setting, on the highway over bumps the ride is composed, body roll is eliminated. My friend said its "stiff", even on Street mode.

On highway ramps and long sweepers I can push harder on the accelerator before you "feel" the body weight, and by then, you'll be going faster than before the suspension module install.
I am curious to see what the car records on the G meter.
My new daily driving setting now is Suspension on Sport, with occasional switch to Track for when the road is smooth.
Thank you. I like what I am reading. I always drive my car in sport suspension mode & it's my daily.

That's great to hear. Can you go into detail on how it changed street driving for you? I don't track my car
The following video by DCS describes what the device programming is doing in detail...pretty amazing product although the Diablosport version has limited programming ability.

I’m a street 1/4 guy, run 315/35/20 Nitto 555R2’s with a manual trans. Run 11.2-11.4 street 1/4’s on warm roads, stock shocks but AAD, BMR, P4D goodies all over the rear. What could this $1000 item do for me? Could one expect 2 tenths off street 1/4 times with one? Anyone do any street 1/4 testing with one? Before and after results?

Enhanced weight transfer, control, and predictability. This isn't a power modification. If it nets a performance increase in ET it will be from the user making the most of its capabilities, not by unlocking a purposely neutered function of the vehicle.

I am impressed by it - particularly in perilous driving situations.

In track mode the car gets unsettled on small bumps on the highway. Handles way better in street mode on imperfect rodes. Does the unit make track mode or even sport mode suspension more useable?
Yes. Matter of fact I can say it does at stupid high speeds. At Road America it was terrifying to drive btw the Kink and Canada Corner where massive speed is possible with our car before the unit, for me anyway. But you better be steady and the car better allow you to do it. Now after the install, night and day difference in speed. I enjoy passing in that section now!

On the highway, in any mode I appreciate and can feel it performing four wheel independent shock control. Say lots of 5hit, but that item right there is trick IMO. It also makes my Redeye ride real nice.

I finally had a chance to drive my Cat last week due to pleasant weather condition. I also was able to do a few highway pulls and lane changing maneuvers. This controller improves stability and confidence at higher speeds especially in track mode. Best way to describe It feels more like a sports car than a big heavy muscle car. I still have yet to test hard launch from stand still; don’t have any place locally to do it safely. But I can tell the difference with a somewhat moderate take off from a green light though…😬

I have one on the way, hopefully get a chance to test it at least once before hibernation can’t be put off any longer.

I finally bought one & installed it today. Only went for a short test drive on some back roads, but you can instantly feel the massive difference vs stock settings. Car feels much more sure footed, planted and stable. Less body roll. Street suspension setting now feels like what sport should have been from the factory, to a degree, and sport feels like a version of the track setting. I rode around in sport suspension mode all the time prior. I think I might leave it in street mode with this controller.

Looking forward to getting more time on the road with this to see exactly how good it is & what setting I prefer. Also looking forward to spring with this when I put my good wheels back on. I'm on snow tires right now for winter.

Started the car up today, for the first time since I drove it for that short test drive earlier in the week, and I got a message on the dash saying service active dampening system. However, the car is not throwing any codes and drives fine otherwise. Anyone else have this problem?

I understand the "Zero Travel" cal is the only recommended out-of-box change, but avoid using the DSC tuning SW due to 3x lockout limitation. Only the Diablosoft (currently in beta) SW is supported. Please correct me if wrong.
Can you elaborate on what exactly is limited by the "3x lockout limitation"?
  • Does this apply to DiabloSport branded units?
  • Does this apply DSC units?
  • Does this affect the DiabloSport provided software?
  • Does this affect the DSC provided software?
  • is the lockout enforced by the software or the hardware unit?
  • is there just some combinations of hw/sw brand/brand where this happens?

What others have reported is that this applies to the Diablo branded units when trying to use the DSC software to modify parameters. Once you get the lockout the only option is to replace the unit itself.

Ew. That's just gross and sounds like Diablo is being a poor sport with their own rebadged product. Especially since from what I understand they didn't even have software for it until just recently whereas the OEM DSC has offered theirs the whole time.

I wonder how it's implemented and if it could be defeated--but not gonna spend money to find out.

I believe this issue was reported in another thread, the OP had to perform specific steps in a certain order to get past the error message. I’ve seen the post but just can’t find it.

Had mine installed for a couple of months now. I drove my Cat couple of days ago to get an oil change. Had no issues so far (knock knock....). Still loving the ride!
