A 1.28 60’ is darn impressive man!We run it on our Redeye, 1.28 60' with all stock suspension hardware.
We have a tester in the hands of a road racer and a Demon that regularly drag races for more real world results.
I can switch all modes as normal. Not the same issue as that post. I also did not see a solution in there anyway.![]()
Issue with DiabloSport suspension controller
I have received my brand-new unit today and I couldn't wait: I had to install it right away. Unfortunately, the immediate result was really disappointing: I can't change suspension settings anymore; the controller doesn't work. The display shows "Street" (but it rides more like "Track"); when...www.hellcat.org
Mismatch between what mode the car expects to see at startup and what mode the controller wants to start with may cause issues (or so I was told at some point).Another day of no warning messages on the dash. However, I'm not sure if it's just me since I'm not used to this controller yet or if it's starting itself in sport or track mode even though I always start the car in street mode for suspension
Yes, I do have a Tazer. Car is set to always start on "custom" mode. I have suspension set to "street" in my customDo you have a tazor also? Is it set to change your drive mode on start for you? Maybe there's a race condition between all the units starting up.
Do you have it set to change mode on startup?I have the Tazer as well and have not come across this problem with the DS controller.
I'm not going to bother b/c I am not ditching the Tazer regardless. So if the Diablosport unit doesn't like the Tazer, I'll just sell it or deal with having to manually change modes.Try it without Tazer plugged in and see what it does, might be conflicting canbus messaging between the 2.
I do. I have it set to Sport, tried Custom as well and no issues with the suspension controller.Do you have it set to change mode on startup?

130lbs lol That was at age 40 now im 170lbs. Anyway mine is a little softer than the stock controller in street mode and gets progressively stiffer in sport and track where track mode is like driving the jeep off road.Either my unit does not want to go into street mode or it's me. Just how harsh is the ride on the street in street suspension mode for you guys? Are you bouncing out of the seat a little on certain bumps on the highway? lol. Maybe it's just b/c I am 130 lbs![]()
Sounds like mine is stuck on either sport or track then. Diablosport never answered my email. Do we have a direct email other than the 1 on their site?130lbs lol That was at age 40 now im 170lbs. I would reach out to MKL_DS he was quick to get me the beta software. Maybe he can help.Sounds like mine is stuck on either sport or track then. Diablosport never answered my email. Do we have a direct email other than the 1 on their site?
I am running mine on my SRT 392 which I believe is set up a little softer than the cats from the factory. I also noticed that the ride its more stiff on the highway. I used the software to remove the speed settings. It was progressively making the suspension more stiff at anything over 60. People travel at 85 around here, even with the speed modifier set to 0 it is still more stiff than the stock SRT 392 street profile.Either my unit does not want to go into street mode or it's me. My understanding is that if the controller sends no current to the shocks (so, basically, if the controller doesn't work), the shocks become as stiff as they can. The more current, the softer the shocks. My DS controller never worked, and the car rode like the track suspension setting with it.Either my unit does not want to go into street mode or it's me. Sounds like what mine is doing. Are you able to select a different drive mode from the srt pages? Or does it always go back to displaying "street"?Sounds like mine is stuck on either sport or track then. Diablosport never answered my email. Do we have a direct email other than the 1 on their site?
I can select all the modes I want, but the actual controller does not adjust the suspensionAre you able to select a different drive mode from the srt pages? Or does it always go back to displaying "street"?
