Diablosport suspension controller

What does everyone think of this? I'm curious as to whether or not this decreases shock life more than normal, what the cost of the controller will be & actual proof of handling improvement. Saw their video & all it showed was cars launching. Nothing with street driving or road course...

Either my unit does not want to go into street mode or it's me. Just how harsh is the ride on the street in street suspension mode for you guys? Are you bouncing out of the seat a little on certain bumps on the highway? lol. Maybe it's just b/c I am 130 lbs :D
In any mode on the street it is comfy. Because until it receives input from the driver either turning, accelerating or braking, it allows the suspension to ride incredible smooth IMO.

I can even feel it working the four shocks independently giving it a great ride normally. Again, in ANY of the modes.

Gotta say, a suspension controller failure at the wrong time could be devastating.
I'm now wondering what the failure rate is on these units.

No. It will just default. The shock and struts will still function. Unplug them and go for a drive if you don't believe me.

Default to the firmest possible setting, correct?

Yes. It is still absolutely drivable, and there should be no safety concerns whatsoever.

Mine is still broken. I sent it to them and they just said it's fine and sent it back. Still doesn't work once actually installed in the car. (Stock one works perfectly)

Yea, you can drive it, but no enjoyment on track mode on my daily driver. Hopefully, the replacement unit I get works as it should. Otherwise, I just want my money

Can you please shoot me a PM with your name and the RMA# so I can look into this?

Seriously. They work great, and for every 100 sold there is 1 problem. But, it is that one percent that gets all the attention.

The problem I have always found with these new platforms is that it is always the product's/company's fault. Never the user's. And the user almost never has/had the capacity/bother to investigate beyond the symptom.

The controller in this case may be fine or not. However, did the user check for physical damage in the connectors? Resistance in the circuit(s)? Establish another problem upstream that has a related effect but is not a direct result of the product or installation? The occurrence requires investigation.

But, it's easier to piss and moan online.
The mudslinging and whining never ceases to amaze me. Acting like entitled children with big piggy banks.

We are lucky to have active factory support.

lol when there was no issue until XYZ part was installed, it's XYZ part. Not the user's responsibility to make sure the vendor is sending them a working product. I think we all know there are bad parts in every batch, but that is on the vendor/manufacturer, not the user.

Did you mean someone specific when you said "entitled children with big piggy banks"?

It's a generalization about any/all high dollar late-model communities. The tantrums are amusing, and it makes it hard to be associated with the owners.

You can pretty easily distinguish the exception from the rule by the dirt and grease under a man's (or woman's) nails. Soft hands, make for soft men.
