So I went out to eat and parked my Jailbreak all the way out in the farthest spot I could, no one around me. Backed in and walked away thinking all is well.

I peak out of the restaurant window about 15 min later at my car, and notice another challenger(nice newer one, I couldn't tell because I was 100 miles away if it was a cat or not since I parked so far) was backed in right next to me. Again this is all the way in the back.

I didn't care for it. Probably the other guy thought it was cool to do though? I could see parking a few spots away, give me at least one spot space?? lol

Get used to it. If it’s another Challenger I wouldnt worry as much. Obviously someone who got sucked into the “brotherhood of muscle” cheese hype. 🤮

I still think the best strategy is to hide in plain sight parked amongst other cars, which does not draw attention to a lone car. That lone car parking pisses some people off cause they think you think you are special so they are gonna show you. Then, there is parking at a 45 degree angle across 2 spots. All of that just elicits an unfavorable response.

You can park miles away at the end of an empty lot. When you come back you will usually find a beat up jalopy parked on either side. At least you had a Challenger next to you so chances are he was careful.

Yes it was but it happens all the time, sometimes your best off fitting in with the crowd. Just find the largest parking space and park there.

Probably a photo op for the other driver. Parking far away from everyone else to protect against door-dingers is something I get because I'm OCD about my car, but it's also an inviting target for thieves. Car thieves are cockroaches who like to operate in darkness and shadows. If you have a line of sight on your car, that's good but by the time you figure out if someone is jacking your car you might be too late. I try to park mine close to foot traffic and near an open store or eatery where at least one side is protected by a landscaping island, and then just hope there's enough people activity to unsettle thieves.

Wait until some neighbor kid accidently hits your car with a rock parked under your car port

I saw some idiot kids smash the door in on a Prowler (back when they first came out). Owner parked off away from everything at an angle and a car pull up next to it and repeatedly opened their door into the side of it and then drove off. 😡 people suck
