which will do nothing to prevent or stop theft. Thieves would just simply cover it up or remove it knowing its going to be switched to stolen

The annual registration fee on a $50k car here is no joke

Already got a 2nd job to help pay for the fuel

Might be cool if there was a way to activate a kill switch if those plates get unintentionally removed. Getting to be a stupid expensive option though.

I bought one a few years ago for my company van. It was supposed to have a function that allows you to put your own message on the plate. I wanted it to say my company name when I was parked at job sites. But DMV stopped approving the custom messages and I guess that part of the program is on hold. I had bought the plate when they were $200 or $300. Figured it could be a marketing write off for my business. I don't want my company name on the side of my van due to all the theft in my progressive shithole of a state that used to be known as California.

If I ever get the Jailbreak I ordered, this plate will go on it and it will display 807HEMI.
