Which Dodge dealers or tuners will be authorized to install Direct Connection engine kits and how do we know who they are?
My local Dodge/Jeep dealer has never seen a supercharged Challenger. Im hard pressed to imagine he would be authorized to perform that work. Maybe im wrong.

I just got off the phone with a Direct Connection rep. March 9th is the exact date of roll out. At that time there will be a list of "Power Brokers" (authorized dealerships) at dodgegarage.com. I'm looking at the stage 1 kit for my Hellcat WB, and the price in the DC catalog is just $2000 (requires $1,200 for the pre-stage kit plus $800 for the stage 1 kit). Not bad for a 40hp bump while maintaining the complete factory warranty.

Sounds attractive.
Thanks

There's a running thread on confirmed PB Dealers. Best way to find out for sure is to reach out to the dealerships in your area and ask them. If you do find one that isn't on the list, and has been confirmed, post it up with their details.

Do those prices include labor? I think not but I'm not sure

Is this what they call a tuner that's accessing the vehicle pcm via the obd2 port. In essence loading a canned tune.. Does this mean it you're not actually cracking the PCM and causing a 1400 code.
Are there other tuners out there that can do the same thing. To me the mere fact this is coming from Chrysler would be a selling point rather than a hindrance especially if the dealer installs it. a little pricey but a little bit of insurance when it comes to selling the car down the road.

Thoughts anyone.

The main benefit would be full coverage of your warranty and any added Mopar warranty you have on your car. Since the dealership is installing any parts or there canned tune it’s fully covered. An aftermarket tune is not and will void the warranty.

These only get full coverage from the original factory warranty. Any additional mopar extended warranty is voided by installing the stage kits.

I'm wondering if the tune portion of the stage kits address the TCM hickup that is so common.
I am really hoping so - it’s the only reason I would actually want it. No sense in adding additional HP only to hiccup sooner or more frequently. What’s interesting is that it seems some have solved through a trans tune…but ideally they get at shift points here to help? Fingers crossed!
