The Direct Connection parts book is out and it's pretty dam cool. I see prices and part numbers. Is this stuff actually available?
I also see details on fuel. It says everything is calibrated for unleaded 91 octane, except what is noted as "High Octane" which would be a minimum of 100.
Says Stage 2 for a Redeye is 837hp when NOT in high octane mode which means 91, whereas the high octane is 885hp. Makes me happy as I can continue my road trips with a conservative 837HP on 91 Octane between weekend racing and not worry about fuel.

My uneducated guess is this is the parts they plan on offering, if you can actually get the parts right now is probably iffy. Going to my CDJR parts department about 3 weeks ago they had little inventory and limited availability. Hopefully things will stabilize and we can order in the next 6 months. Is it in PDF form or do you have to order the physical copy?

Ya was hoping 837 with 91-93 octane. Stage 2 for me whenever things do become available.

I just spoke to my dealer service manager and he said they are nowhere near ready to get going ordering or installing any of the new direct connection parts on cars. They are the biggest Dodge dealer in FL and he said they have already set aside a handful of techs that will be going out for training on how to install these new stage kits. But he said they just heard about this program a few weeks ago and have no ETA on when they will order or install anything yet.

Here:s the link I used to the actual catalog. I downloaded a PDF version to me PC
2022 Direct Connection Catalog (dodgegarage.com)

Index is about 10 pages in. Catalog is large and in great detail. We can get just about anything for these cars from Mopar including all the Drag race suspension parts. Really cool stuff here. The Zero Camber rear knuckles are something I have not seen thats been needed for a long time.
Enjoy!
Great job by Mopar.

Let me know this works. I went there from my weekly Mopar news mail

That is a promo video advertising HP, torque with tuning of the Hellcat and Redeye. The HP numbers are the same as what's in the parts book. The video does not cover using 91 Octane with Stage 1 or 2. That info is in the parts book and yep, we can use 91 and still see increases. There is a lot of information many people have been asking about in the parts book.
This is no Promo, It's the real deal a comprehensive parts book from a to z, bumper to bumper covering every aspect of modifications to the late model Mopar Muscle cars. They also have pages of parts for Vintage Mopar Muscle as well. The tuning is only one small section of this parts book. The information on what they are selling is very detailed, especially the tuners. It's an impressive well put together program. Part numbers and prices are all there. If you have a copy of the original Direct Connection parts book from the Mid 70's you will love this it has the same look, just way more power!

"conservative 837HP" lol. 20 years ago who would have thought would be saying something like this about a factory car

Is this what they call a tuner that's accessing the vehicle pcm via the obd2 port. In essence loading a canned tune.. Does this mean it you're not actually cracking the PCM and causing a 1400 code.
Are there other tuners out there that can do the same thing. To me the mere fact this is coming from Chrysler would be a selling point rather than a hindrance especially if the dealer installs it. a little pricey but a little bit of insurance when it comes to selling the car down the road.

Thoughts anyone.

I was never able to get a solid answer on the P1400 after messaging multiple people at Dodge as well as my local power broker dealership. What I'm trying to figure out is 1) will the computer be "unlocked" and 2) will the car show a P1400.

I assume the answer to both will be no but I'd really like to know before I go this route.

Technically Chrysler, Ram, and Dodge are independent entities under Stellantis, each brand has to prove their viability over the next 10 years or it will be shutdown so there may be Dodge and no Chrysler in the future and MOPAR is no longer a real thing as there's no Plymouth anymore and the brands are independent.

And I believe you are correct, Dodge's tuner is canned but won't void the warranty where a Diablo will as soon as it's hooked up. I am not fully cogent on the tuner so could be wrong.

Soooooooo
Its looks like we will start receiving Direct connect inventory this week. Shipments start on the 11th. We do not currently have information on when we will receive stage kits. Per an email Stellantis is waiting for CARB certification. More info to come.

Tbh this rollout was supposed to happen on Dec15. Then it was pushed back to today. Ive called three power brokers and it was pretty much the same.
They never heard of power brokers, they don't know anything and will call me back, seems like a crappy launch to me.

im sure i speak for many of us, this was like a second Christmas, and santa done got covid :(
