I have the same issue. Haven't had a chance to call UConnect support yetHas anyone figured out how to disable the weather alert pop-ups? Very annoying, and I can't find a setting to stop them. The Sirius Travel Link is creating them. Thanks.
I only get flood warning rarely. Don't get any others so I havent. I would think its a setting in weather channel app. I will mess with it later.Has anyone figured out how to disable the weather alert pop-ups? Very annoying, and I can't find a setting to stop them. Don't go to Myrtle Beach SC if the pop ups bother you.Has anyone figured out how to disable the weather alert pop-ups? Very annoying, and I can't find a setting to stop them. The Sirius Travel Link is creating them. Thanks.
DittoSame issue in Houston. We had several days of rain, and a river outside of the metro area, but in the county, is barely above flood stage for several days. Every time you drive, the nagging alert takes over the screen and won't go away until you clear it.
I went through everything on 301-303. That part of he setup deals with the music and sports alerts, and sets your traffic and weather channel for that preset.See pages 301-303 in UConnect manual and try to delete alert or deselect a city
Me neither. I was in my garage last night trying to change various settings, but didn't seem to shut it off. Maybe a new safety requirement. We are forced to know of imminent doom.I went through everything on 301-303. That part of he setup deals with the music and sports alerts, and sets your traffic and weather channel for that preset.
In the Travel Link app, I have no favorite city set. You can see that it knows that I am in Houston (probably from geolocation.)
I have been through all of the normal setup menus that I can think of, the Travel Link menus, have researched the owners and UConnect manuals, searched websites and forums, and haven't been able to find a solution yet.
Up a hill is a flood warning???What is really weird is that I get a flood warning in one specific area I drive. Not anywhere else, just going up this one hill. It is definitely based on where you are at.
I know, I was going to say that too! Really, it's just about that one spot I pass through, I am usually going up the hill but it does it when I go down too. Ironically, it's higher level but there is marsh land below. I can drive all day and that is the onl time it comes on.Up a hill is a flood warning???
What goes up, must come down. ..Up a hill is a flood warning???
