Got a new Charger Scatpack that I stowed in Central Florida for road-trips East of the Mississippi. Gonna need the first oil change soon. Bought the oil and SRT Filter. Don’t have ramps, tools, drainpan there. No-one but me touches my stuff if i can help it? Prime gasket, pre fill filter, hand tight, detail the inspection cover, etc…you know. Anal. A local shop agreed, but i hesitate. Advice, offer, or information appreciated.

Lot of stuff to buy. Why not have a local Dodge dealer service department do the oil service?

I had my 2018 Hellcat's oil changed at 3, make that 4 different dealers. 3 in the area where I lived near the SF Bay Area, and one here in Benton County AR.

I book an appointment and make it clear I'm going to wait for the car. Takes less than 2 hours and some of this time the car spends sitting waiting to be moved to a service bay then after the service is done it sits awaiting the SA to write up the paper work.

A lot of the time the chain auto stores have an oil change kit cheap. Buy harbor freight ramps, buy a tub and a wrench? 🤷‍♂️

I have the race ramps, and San Jose has curbside oil pick up. Getting it in the air and disposal the biggest items.
