2019 Charger HC. I know, a bit late in the game, but when I took delivery a yr ago dealer said they don't.
Never questioned it....until now when someone said they do.
Don't want to break them.

They are usually folded in while on the trucks for delivery. Here is mine shortly after it was unloaded

That's right, they don't really fold in, they rotate upwards.

More like up than in. They also fold down to drain water after a bath.
