The issue is they did not provide the dealer with any aids to sell when these cars came out. It's not like I'm changing my mind. I was shocked to see the first visual representation of the car I ordered.

I am so disappointed. All my excitement for owning a hellcat is dead due to how I was treated by them.
When I ordered the dealer brought up a wheel illustration, they commented that Dodge is notorious for changing the name of the wheels & colors. Dodge hasn’t made a 22 in over a month and you can’t build a 23 online showing actual options and colors😡

On about Jan 15th I noticed Dodge had the audacity to add the 2023 Hornet to the build configurator but still haven't put up the 23' Chargers and Challengers. I wrote them an email asking why they're lagging and the response was "we want the configurater to reflect the majority of what dealers have in stock! WATAF?? Makes no sense considering you can't order a 22 your way anymore anyway. They're basically just pissing on our backs and telling us it's a nice warm rain. Get your shit together Dodge and update your info. This is 2023 for Christ's sake, hire another dewd or a chick to work along side the kid who added the Hornet. Quit your STALLing STALLantis.
i seen the Hornet too, did you noticed the order from Your home option….home delivery too. Another way to reduce costs & jab the dealers they depend upon for service. 😬

Pretty sure it still goes to a local dealer for PDI before delivery to you. Even Corvette does it this way for factory delivery.

From what I understand is the buyer is given much smaller list of approved dealers. Chosen Dealership gets the sale at reduced rates (essentially cutting margins for salesman & overhead costs) yet those only chosen Dealerships get the chance at the sale. Those that aren’t on the list (usually smaller) can’t compete. Keep in mind all these dealerships regardless of brand are constantly being asked or mandated to comply with expensive EV charging stations, service equipment upgrades & new emergency equipment so they must finance the farm (pay to play).

I’m not advocating for dealerships as much as good business practices regardless of product. When Manufactures sell direct your Dealer/partners become competitors and the consumer usually looses. Service costs become higher however many can’t see that.

It’s like raising minimum wage or taxes and not expect prices or inflation to go up 😂 it just simple cost accounting.
