Here is what I recommend, as I race....even in the crappy heat..... so "I" am looking forward to the next 2 months of cool weather.
not being smart with you at all.... go around the water if you can for burnout...back down right in front of it....
"I" do a manual 1st -2nd-3rd, left off brake and burn towards starting line with 18lbs of air in tires.
Shallow stage, meaning ….barely light the 2nd stage bulb..... then flat slam gas to the floor on the last yellow.
….OR, if your car dead hooks, and track is good, YOU can do the stall up torque load launch.
Make sure you are in DRAG/TRACK mode...… and with all traction control off if your car/track can handle that.
Let car shift itself....LOL...no paddling..... and let off at the finish line, as at my home track, some newbies let off at the signs, or
before that actual finish line stripe.
I would speculate even with crappy weather, humidity, altitude.... your DEMON should click off 1.45-1.50 60fts at
[email protected] mph. (?)
….or even quicker, with race gas, DEMON computer.....etc.
Keep us posted...and good luck..... in the fall weather...with temps in the 50s or better, and density altitude better you can bank on a
full 2-4 solid tenths better with an increase of 2-4 mph.
Sunday I tried my new MT ET Rs for the first time, and was 87*, 1500 altitude 50% humidity and felt hot & sticky out.
Best pass flat punching it was
[email protected] with a 1.47 60 ft time... I didn't experiment with loading the car up/ torque boosting.
Going to Cecil County this Friday I am pretty sure and hoping for some 10.3s.... gonna torque reserve launch this thing!
