Dodge Is Definitely Adding More Allocations on the HorsePower Locater Website

I have been tracking the allocation numbers on the dodge website as they "allegedly" go down as people place orders.

Well the only number consistently going UP is the narrow body Redeye Jailbreak. all the rest seem to be dropping.

While the NBREJB was initially listed at 29 back on the original release date, then it dropped to a low of 18 then now it's up to 26.
Original: 29
12/02/22: 22
12/05/22: 20
12/06/22: 19
12/13/22: 18
12/20/22: 25
01/03/23: 21
02/17/23: 26

Are you sure that the 10 already built came from allocations or could they just be dealer orders? The dealership by me had no allocations for any Hellcat, but then they ended up with a Sublime NBRE just recently. I am definitely not questioning the fact that the locator is completely off, just that some of the NBRE’s built didn’t come from allocations.
No idea if they are allocated cars or not.

Or if the rolled over cancelled 2022 orders that are being made into 2023 orders are being deducted from the overall allocation numbers or not.

If they are non-allocated/non-rolled-over orders then the entire "horsepower locator" allocation list website is a complete and utter scam designed to extort the most ADMS from gullible customers.

Don't call me a pessimist...I prefer to think of mysef as a "Glass Half-Broken" kind of guy, instead ;)

Anyone know anything about Meador Dodge in Texas. They have 5 NBREJB slots. I dont recall them being on the list before? Did they suddenly get a bunch of allocations after being ignored?

I noticed the other day this dealer all of a sudden had five allocations for RENB. They are 50 K over msrp on these and 25K over on the scat pack. lol

i’m guessing they were allocated . Unless ironically five people backed out at the same time.

Spoken for. Ordered. Two completely different terms. When the actual ordered cars arrive, there will be another phenomenon... the ones that people actually take delivery of, and the ones that end up in dealer inventory. If dealers had any faith that people would actually buy one of these 100k cars, there would be zero allocations left. The dealers would simply order them for inventory.
I have already seen a couple posts, by dealers, of a JB hitting the lot, is available because buyer backed out.
Several guys on CT ordered two or three cars, some at multiple dealers. They talk about not wanting to miss an allocation so they ordered multiple cars. They only intend to purchase one.

The locator is a joke.
I've got a feeling the multiple order scenario is happening in a lot of places.

Something is not adding up here. When the HP Locator was released everyone made note that there were only going to be a tiny number of NBRE's produced. Like less than 30. It's only January and I have seen half that many already listed online for sale and obviously that does not include all the cars reserved for Customers. By years end their will be a whole lot more than 30 RENB's produced. And I got my 22 NBRE for 6K below MSRP in Sept and there are over 100 22 NBRE's still gathering dust on the lots at MSRP and in some cases below. I call BS on these HP locater numbers. Their going to pump out as many cars as they can.

I'd prefer a 22 at that price to. Too many colors not for me.
Still trying to figure out how I landed that 300C on cargurus.

Dealer made up name? Be interesting to see the name on the window sticker.

It's described as a "LAST CALL HELLCAT REDEYE JAILBREAK ".
It's not a Redeye. It has orange valve covers and a black supercharger belt.

Yeah, he just sent me the window sticker: Not a Redeye. It's a 717hp Jailbreak.

AND they screwed in the bolts into the front bumper for their stupid dealer license plate.

Yeah, When I messaged the seller about the incorrect listing he said "Yeah, me and my sales manager were just talking about that".

Let's see if he does the right thing and fixes the listing.

Talk about dumb and dumber. Don't know what the car is and kick it off by damaging the front bumper. Where does the line for idiots form?
If you've got the VIN you can always tell 717hp from 797/807hp Challenger.

7th character will be a

C for 717hp
L for 797/807hp

An allocation is simply the ability to order a car, whether that car is for dealer stock or for a customer. There is no distinction between the two. If a dealer has allocations for six cars it doesn't matter whether he orders all six for customers or all six for stock or some combination thereof.

Every 2023 is allocated. A dealer that orders a car for stock is still counted against his allocations.
