It's not the parts, it's that truckers aren't going to deliver cars to the US if they can't back into Canada. Right now cars are being stockpiled in Windsor waiting for importation.

Lots of suppliers in the USA, at some point production will stop. Random Hellcat statement of origin, it's a global supply chain

Looks like the Wednesday evening shift was sent home early due to parts shortages related to the protest. Just about all borders into Canada now are blocked.

Not that it matters on this forum but I know the Toyota plant here in Ky. Is shut down due to parts shortage from Canada as well.

I have no knowledge of how the supply chain works. If the protests (not sure what they're really about) end within the next few days or weeks will all this a little impact on current Hellcat orders?

Most all the parts used at Brampton arrive by truck just before the car is scheduled to be built, so if everything starts getting backed up then yes it will affect future orders. If this keeps up which it looks like it will, there will be more random shut downs.

How far in advance do the parts for an indivdual Hellcat arrive at the factory? Do they have days/weeks/months of parts waiting for assembly?

Days, if not hours, for the large(r) parts.

The longer the parts are on site, the more it costs to store and inventory them.

What, if any, is the Canadian impact on trucks getting to US for delivery of Hellcats to dealers?
The Ambassador Bridge to USA is open, it's just the trucks can't get back so the Company has decided to park the cars in Windsor until the situation is resolved.

As far as direct impact on the Brampton plant, there is none. Windsor cut some shifts, but that plant doesn't affect Brampton. Windsor makes the Pacifica, Voyager and Grand Caravan. How the protests indirectly affect supply issues is unknown to me. For cars that are shipped to Tampa for my area, they come mostly by way of ship.

Brampton cut half the evening shift Wednesday.

For cars that are shipped to Tampa for my area, they come mostly by way of ship.
Seriously? That seems crazy and hard to believe. Need to check the shipping order in the car on that one.

My 2020 Hellcat was delivered via ship to Tampa.
