Just wondering if someone has a contact at SRT Customer Care who could help me with an issue? I approached SRT in early March and April regarding a service contract that SRT promised they could roll over into my new vehicle. I have names and dates of the people who have told me that this was do-able once I got my new vehicle. Now that I've taken delivery I'm being told that what these two contacts have told me at SRT customer care was a lie, and that SRT is unwilling to make this right even though they have logs of telling me wrong information. I'm furious, as my $80,000 Redeye purchase was pretty much contingent on this happening, and I feel like I was hoodwinked by SRT, where historically they have been very helpful.

If anyone has a contact of a helpful person I could really use it right now. Thanks!

lol goodluck, I had dozens of transcripts between myself and a dealer, and Dodge Cares pertaining to a dealer not wanting to honor a warranty on my car with 4 years and 20k miles on it, for a 6year 60k mile item and it took me going there physically and demanding they do something because I wasn't leaving without a resolution. They realized they had the wrong vin entered for my car...

After showing the dealer the transcripts they still told me to kick rocks, which I figured would be the end all judgement since its coming directly from the brands representative. Apparently not.

they told you whatever they could, to get you into that car.

According to one of the provisions pages on my contract,it says you can "CANCEL the remaining Plan coverage and receive a full or pro-rata refund". So why not cancel, get the money, and use it on the new car.
I was gifted the original service contract by SRT, and none of it was ever used because the factory warranty still applied to the vehicle I had sold.

You're upset because you can't transfer a gifted (i.e. free) warranty to your new car? Hmmm.....
No, I'm upset because SRT has told me on multiple occasions that they would honor the transfer. Now that I've purchased the car, they're reversing what they've told me on numerous occasions. Don't be a dickhead.

So now we wait to see if Dodgecares is just a PR thing. No one ever follows up after dealing with them. Something tells me yes, otherwise people would be raving here about the help they got. Havent seen one rave lol.

I will absolutely follow up with you guys! I have names and dates of people I have worked with, so I'm hoping this is resolved quickly and efficiently. Stay tuned, man!

I suppose you'll have to wait to see how Dodgecares performs... SRT has rectified the issue and transferred both my extended service contract and oil change/rotation package over to my new vehicle this morning.

Thank you! I would say it's a case of having all my ducks in-a-row. When you're able to give dates/times/names of who you spoke with, and they can verify those calls in-system. It's hard to argue against it! I'm just overjoyed that SRT did the right thing in the end even though they spent a few days trying to deny me.

Pretty sure Dodgecares had nothing to do with it. OP had his sh!t together before then. I'm still not a believer.
