My 17 charger cat with 34,000km on it wouldn't start a few days ago.

It turns out the fuel pump is broken out of nowhere. As I've seen has happened to some others here. I'm looking to see if anyone has found an alternative or aftermarket solution to replace this specific part number for the fuel pump from MOPAR. As it's quite an expensive part.

On other forums I have found reference to the TAPPD performance fuel pump (linked below) but this does not look at all like the part being referenced by MOPAR and the technicians working on my car.

Why do you need a new gasket? Are you talking about the big rubber o ring under the lock collar?

Man, I honestly don't know. My car was working perfectly fine, with only 34,000 kms. I came down one day and it won't start.

Do you have any guarantee on these parts working? Seems like it's from a parted out vehicle?

For that price you're better off to upgrade to a dual pump in the tank. That way you're ready for the future. Or you can look here and FB market place for pump assemblies. I have one out of my 15 hellcat when I went dual pump setup but I don't want to sell it.

This is what I have except mine has better pumps with higher capacity:
