I recently had a 2.85 pulley installed and tuned. The temperature was 45 degrees and I did a wot pull and my afr dropped to 9.5-9.6. It typically stays in the 10.5-11.1 range. I specifically asked for more power, but wanted a conservative tune. I know people typically tune theM at 11.5 The place I went was not specialize in Mopar, but works on a little of everything. Is this safe???

I would throw 100 hp worth of nitrous at it and see where yer at : )

No. It is a closed loop system.

I’ve only seen it once. It normally stays around 10.5-11.1. The only thing different was the gas I ran(93 shell in the country). I normally run Sunoco 93 and I’ve only seen it drop to 10.5. Do you think bad gas would cause it to run richer

If this was after multiple consecutive power pulls you may have triggered COT.

Asking your tuner to check your datalog is far wiser than asking the forum in this case
I figured I could get a quick response or someone else was experiencing the issue that I was
The readings are from an aftermarket wide band gauge or the car readings?
It was from the car, but I believe from what motorheadmike said was spot on. I was on the back roads headed home from Mopar at the beach and I was on some back roads and nailed it a couple of times. I believe it did trigger the cot protection. I noticed my air to fuel ratio goes down the higher I go in the rpm range. But I believe that’s the fuel enrichment kicking in for protection. Because they warranty there builds and I asked for a pretty conservative tune. Even tho I only drive it maybe once a or twice a month
