I am terrified someone will door ding, or walk by with a bag in hand or do something terrible to my Hellcat. So, inevitably I walk long distances to every establishment I go to these days. Any one else find themselves parking in the back 40 of every parking lot??

Yea I did the same with my 2014 Jeep SRT, but it's just different in this car. I get so many more gawkers and such, I am afraid that people will get near it just to say they got near one. In the process of taking their super sweet selfie with my car, hand goes on the hood, with keys in it and now I have my first scratches. Leave my kitty alone!! Lol

I was thinking of hiring a big strong dude or a kid with a gun to ride around with me. They can station themselves in a lawn chair outside my cat while I"m away! Waddya think?

These cars attract attention like a hooker on a street corner. It's nuts. Especially the sublime!

Yes!! And put shirts on them that say I eat Priuses and shit out Subarus. And add a tshirt on the hooker that says free blow jobs and it would be close to the amount of attention a sublime kitty gets. Absolutely unreal.

YES!!! But everyone gives me crap about being paranoid and parking outside the lines! I feel your pain. I'm the same, everywhere I go. I was going to shop at the Farmers Market this weekend but there weren't any spots away from people so I didnt go. Just not worth the risk.

I'm waiting on my delivery this coming Monday. Yes a week from today. i usually park my 392, Del Sol, or Miata 100's of feet from anything else.
1) to try to protect the car and
2) exercise on the way in and out of the store and
3) gives me time to check out my cool cars and people to stare and try to figure, ...is that his?
I think a personal vehicle body guard may be in order, fully loaded.

YES!!! But everyone gives me crap about being paranoid and parking outside the lines! I feel your pain. I'm the same, everywhere I go. I was going to shop at the Farmers Market this weekend but there weren't any spots away from people so I didnt go. Just not worth the risk.

I met the wife at Travinas for dinner one night, I parked across the street in an empty bank at 1830. Or so I thought. There was someone in there and they got nervous, especially since I backed in. (never back in to a bank parking spot unless you want to look suspicious) When the cop arrived to check me out I figured it was best to park across the street and use the wife's car as a buffer...

Yep, I never drink near my Hellbaby! If I'm driving, I'm sober. If I'm drinking someone else is driving and they can park in door ding land for all I care! I don't allow drunk people in my Hellbaby either so, I'm good on that!

I totally get that. Anytime I have to park in a parking lot with not enough space to be comfortable, I try and perch by a window and provide over watch. Let me watch the first person ding or scratch my car, game on! Back in 2004 I bought a brand new STI, which was cool when I was in my 20s, and I literally watched a drunk girl door ding my car 2 days old from my balcony. I had some very hostile thoughts after that.

I think it would be worse with the kitty.
