Has any one run a gen 5 3.0l whipple off the drag pak? Im curious how well the new design does with intake temps, and what is the boost limitation with the 3.0l. Thinking of making a switch to whipple.

There are a few out there. From what I hear, the blower is amazing but it takes a little bit to get it adapted and working. Possibly even have to run EFI Live. So it's a little bit of a hassle but probably worth it once its all done. I'm just holding off until the Hellcat specific kit starts shipping.

or a process of finding all the other weak points in the system.
Think ive address all that. Car has a 9" conversion. Built rpm 6 speed manual, 411 bge stroker with a 4.2lc kenne bell on top. Car ran drag week 2021 with nothing breaking.

The 9" conversion is one of the best ideas I've ever seen. I secretly wish it was a Dana 60 center section instead, but, that's just my Mopar blood, evidently.
I think one company used a dana 60 irs conversion for the 14 and earlier cars. I cant remember the company name tho.

Who's using EFI Live on a Hellcat??

Not sure, but i was playing with the idea of putting holley terminator x in the car. Older ngc4 pcms have a hard limit of 2 bar in the pcm which requires a map clamp when running boost pressures past 15lbs. So i cant have the pcm perform fuel trim adjustments after that point. Meaning the car wont adjust fueling if i add a couple lbs of boost on say my 21lb tune. Kinda sucks when temps drop in the fall. Car leans out in colder temps.

The racing got rained out :(

That 8.83 on boost, in horrible conditions, is a sure sign that Josh has this combo under control with CMR :)

Wait until they find a real pulley for it!

Ed's is a really good guy! He was one of the racers my Husband spent time with at the Track, as many if the HHP customers do.
Ed's Hellcat is Built and Tuned By Josh.

His Engine is a BES/HHP has was installed sometime in 2016. Ed runs it hard, fast and its going strong!
Josh does like to Tune engines that are built by him as he knows there are better parts and he stands behinds his work.

Ed's Hellcat with the driver weight is about 4400LBS

His Hellcat is Tuned using Custom HHP Diablosport CMR Performance Tune (Street & Dyno) For 2015 through 2020 Hellcat, Demon, RedEye and Trackhawk 6.2L HEMI Vehicles - In House Only TUNING

There will be changes coming in the next couple of weeks with Eds Hellcat and its BOOST Season!!!!:cool:

Experience and knowledge for the Building and Tuning Hellcats is Priceless!

Linda :)
