Can anyone tell me what are you running for drag radials? Tire brand size etc thanks in advance for any help
Yup I saw those but just found 18's I'm gonna call on $1050 w M/TI just ordered the Bravado Tribute (18 x 10 w/ 20 mm off set, part no. TTB0515205) wheels and the MT Street II (Part no. 900000024661) from Summit, they will arrive about the first week of June. This is a Drag Strip only set of rear wheels and tires for me. They will not see many road miles.........
Total cost, 2 wheels and 2 tires.....$960 delivered
I was looking at them tonight. Glad they are coming off tomorrow. About 2000 street miles. Hope they have two drag days, one for sure. I have only let em roast through the gears a couple of times. But their purpose was to let me get a good feel for the car and let it get a grip. How many miles on average do you get out of the Nittos?
I daily drive my car and don't want to burn up expensive Nittos in 5k miles.
BTW what do you all think the life expectancy are of the stock rubbers? I was able to massage about 20k miles out of my 392 SRT factory rubbers. Doubt the stock rubbers will survive that long in this one. I have the all season tires.
700plus, what rims would I order for those 305's?Nitro 305/35 R20 555R run them all the time on the rear no clearance issues.

Tires are Nitto sorry auto correct. I run them on the stock rims.700plus, what rims would I order for those 305's?
I used a phone app for GPS speed and at 56 MPH my speedometer and app were perfectly matched.Just a question on Rolling diameter for those members who have gone to the 305/35/20.
So, by my calcs you would have to go to a 315/35/20 to get about the same Rolling Diameter as the stock tires.
Thus with the 305/35/20 you would be running slightly less Rolling Diameter than standard, basically lowering the gearing and putting the rear of the car lower to the ground.
I have a Charger so A8 of course and I notice two things, first gear is very low already standard, and the car is quite low already for the shit roads around Houston. (apologies for any locals who think the roads are good)
Any experiences from members running the 305's in relation to the above it would be much appreciated if you could share. (particularly those with Chargers as it feels a lower car than my last Challenger)
I wouldn't expect more than 5k out of Nitto DRs, especially with a decent amount of track usage. Burnouts obviously eat up tread. How many miles on average do you get out of the Nittos?
