Has any one put the nitto's nt555r's or toyo r888's on the charger yet? Will the 305/35/20 fit on the charger as it does on the chally?
Just mounted the Nitto 305's on the back. (275 on front).
Fit fine, but contact patch is not that wide with the stock 9.5 in. rims, so it does not stick as well as I would have hoped for on the street without heating the tires.

While the tire total width is close to 12 inches, the tire has very rounded shoulders, so that the width of the rubber that actually touches the pavement with “street” pressures of 32 psi, when mounted on the stock rims, is only about 9.5 inches.
I only ran the car with snow tires and never with the original Pirellis, so I do not know how it compares either in contact patch or street traction with the OEM tires.
So, in summary, the Nittos fit and work fine on the street, but for street use at spring road temperatures, I am not convinced that the overall traction is way better than the stock Pirellis (which I have not yet tried).

Try asking the question on the general forum, since ther are several Challenger owners that have switched to Nittos.

I was mainly wondering if they fit on the charger since I have seen plenty of people with the chally running them. I'm assuming they will fit since I think the charger may actually have a little more space in the rear wheel wells but in truth i have no idea. Lol
