Where my seat belt recesses into the pillar, the belt itself is cutting the plastic wall. Has anyone ever heard of this? Is a 2021 Super Stock.

How about a picture? I can't imagine cloth "cutting" plastic, especially on a car so new.

I don't see how this can happen if the belt is routed through the holder in the seat back.

I really hope you are kidding. Is that really all you have to look for is miniscule marks? This is what I think of when I hear cutting plastic.

That is definitely odd. I don't know if mine did the same thing or not. I didn't look behind the seat very often.

I haven’t complained. My OP was asking if anyone else has had this happen? I’ve never seen it happen before.

My wife's '18 Durango R/T drive side seatbelt is worse than that. I will take a picture so everyone can see.

You must be super tall or like to drive laid back a lot as it looks like the driver seat is all the way back. It's rubbing there because you've maxed out the void space for the belt.

Nothing I can see the dealer being able to do. If you have a steady hand, elongate that opening just a bit with a sanding disc and dremil and call it a day.

Nothing is "broken", it's just they didn't design that slot for your driving position.

Looks like the belt is teisted between the pillar and the seat guide loop. This would cause it to slide differently, maybe making it crawl back and rub it there some?

Straighten the belt and take that twist out of it between the pillar and seat guide man. I just twisted mine like your picture is and it makes it ride back just like yours is doing when pulled out!

That coupled with the fact your seat looks like it is WAY BACK. You must be a big fella man.

Here is a picture of my wife's '18 R/T Durango driver side seatbelt. She is short and sits far up so the seatbelt has rubbed through on the plastic on hers as well.

Went and looked at mine but yours is different, my 15' Charger has a swivel mounted behind the cover and looks like exactly the Durango pic above.
