The bottom of my seat feels like there is a air bag in it like in the lower lumbar support in the back of the seat.
The power switch on the side of the seat by the door sill will operate the back support but nothing is happening to the bottom of the seat when i push the button up or down.

It feels like the bag is blown up and is giving me a sore buttock :)

Is there a lower seat bag/lumbar?

Sorry I don't know the official term for it

I believe that up down part of that four-way button is not for the bottom cushion, but to position the lumbar portion. So, the left/right side of the button inflate the lumbar larger or smaller, while the top/bottom parts move the lumber up/down within the seat, so that a tall person can have that at the right height above the seat bottom, and a short dude can have it be lower, in his lumbar region. I know the seat height is adjustable, but don't think the bottom cushion itself changes firmness or thickness, but with some time playing with it, I was able to get my seat to become very comfortable. Hope this helps.

My seat pan goes up and down separate from lumbar support. The bar to the front adjusts that.

The power seat itself works fine but I'm not seeing anything happen when the round 4 way button is pressed up or down.
I will check to see about it moving the lumbar up and down. That makes sense.

Is everyone's bottom seat feel like there is an air bag in it? The passenger seat is definitely not the same.

If that's the way it is then my ass will just have to get callouss's on it.

Both. Lumbar up and down and seat up and down. I have my seat interest possible setting cause I don't like my head touching the top. Just driver seat does it.

Yupp X-Men you were 100 percent correct on the 4 way lumbar. I guess it's better to try these things out when you're
not driving and the motor isn't screaming.

The bottom seat cushion must not agree with my buttocks but who cares. I guess there isn't anything in the seat there. I will eventually get used to it as there
is no other option :)

Thanks all
